I played a game where my opponent kept a Teferi alive long enough for his ult. Exiled all my lands. I stuck around just to see what their win condition was, maybe some 1/1 with a decent summon effect? Turns out there was none and the other person ran through their deck faster than me. I won the game with no permanents in play.
In theory you can keep -3ing Teferi to shuffle itself into your deck, so you effectively have infinite draws from your deck, making your opponent lose by decking themselves.

Hello there! I've tried a bit of a different editing style that resulted in a lot of slight zooms and camera panning. I hope this isn't too distracting. After working this long on a video I always lose perspective on how to evaluate if viewers can follow what’s going on in the game. Was everything understandable? Did you even notice?
Honestly it allowed me to focus more on the hilarious things happening. I don't think it would work in a game that isn't static (IE, nothing moves except when you play cards) though.
@@Crusina Yeah, Arena (or magic in general) is very static and panning the camera to what's most important seems like a good idea. I don't want to overdo it though
At 8:50 I think the “oops” was because by attacking, they couldn’t take the counters off runaway steam-kin without killing it. They probably wanted to go off that turn, but wouldn’t be able to if they lost the steam-kin.
8:52 they can't activate steam kin's ability because that would leave it a 1/1 with 1 damage marked on it, and they probably didn't have enough spells to finish you off there and then

I had this great idea for a brew, but don't have the wildcards to make it... maybe a new video idea? I call this deck "Swarming Swarm" due to the win cons, Scute Swarm and Skeletal Swarming. It should have a normal Sultai land package, including Lotus Cobra, Growth Spiral, and Scute Swarm (Gitrog Monster if you're feeling spicy). Now for the fun part. The deck also includes a playset of Arcane Adaptation, naming Skeletons. So now all of your scutes are also skeletons. Play Skeletal Swarming, maybe even multiple copies, and swing in for massive trample damage.
@@ethanzillinger6836 I've barely played magic but my only real deck in arena was a mutate scute swarm deck. Why a scute swarm apologist that card is super fun. I loved getting so many tokens I literally crashed the game it was always very funny

Just wanna thank you for teaching me the transmogrify trick. My favorite commander deck uses that card now to cheat out one of 3 big ol hits. Good stuff
I'm gonna be totally honest, I don't usually leave a like when I see that message in the middle of a video, but this one was a clear exception to my rule
So i made this to the best of my collection and holy crap this thing is nasty. Evil. I love it. I would suggest adding in a couple Clear the Minds to help deal with those pesky mill decks.
If indomitable Creativity ever gets added to explorer, that might be a nice direction to go. It's harder to blow out since you can choose 2 targets, but then you can't play any artifacts in your deck (unless it's a target you want to hit).
It's already legal in Explorer. We couldn't play Courier's Briefcase and would have to play Emergent Sequence as the next best thing. I played Lukka as the second Polymorph effect because it has multiple activations in it in case the game goes long. Creativity can get multiple Agents in one hit though (Imagine getting the full squad with one Creativity, that'd make such a sweet edit xD). Getting Sage of the Falls and The Locust God would probably be stronger though
@@BrewersKitchen Thought about Creativity too. I hit Mythic this month largely on the back of a historic deck that's very close to yours right here, except with Creativity instead of Lukka and cheating in Serra's Emissary instead of the Agent. Based on LVD's list. I think Jugan Defends the Temple could be a consideration here too.
My main thought for a transformational sideboard would be to shift to a ramp/midrange package? Stuff like 4 mana chandra, cultivate, cards which let you turbo out your big threats rather than relying on cheating them out? It would make it so all the hate your opponents bring in to lock you down (cages, sweepers for small things) don't actually do much, and you might be able to steal game 2 as well!
I would love to play this in Best of 3! I'm going to try out some sideboard brews on my own but it would be worth posting about/adding to the article later if you find something that works!
Yeah I forgot to mention a lot of things in the article tbh. Like stealing offcolor lands to activate the Briefcase or the red channel land producing creatures to Tranmogrify. I think Chandra is an easy one in the sideboard. She doesn't care about any of the hate that opponents would board in and if we ramp into her on 3, we can hard cast an Agent of 4.
This is similar in style to Commander's Quarter's Illuna deck; it plays no no-land permanents except for a single copy of Omniscience to be searched off of Illuna mutating onto a token. Spicy
