I LOVE YOU GUYS! 😘 - Видеоклипы
NOTE: Pure talent!! No freakin autotune.
What's an auto tune?
@@johnmulligan455 Wikipedia Auto-Tune
You better believe it, you could hear the women screaming crazily for these handsome, well-dressed & well-groomed guys during their live performances!!!
I find it astonishing that Bobby and Bill were both 24 years old when this song came out! Absolute pure talent!!
The Righteous Brothers helped to establish what was called "Blue Eyed Soul" back in the day ... loved by everybody ... literally .....
Not many reactors are aware that a very young CHER was one of the backup singers! Loved seeing you react to this one, thank you 😃🥰😎
Wow really? That’s amazing! I didn’t know
Glen Cambell too
If you look closely in the background, "Cher" is one of the backup singers....................
Blue eyed soul.Looks like the spotlight is making Bill blink.
I fell in love with these guys in 1964. I was 15 yrs and I was lucky as a boomer to grow with the best music in the 60's and 70's. I have every vinyl record album they made. 💖
Think about it sweetie, was you swooning? Hell yeah they was.
My dad used to sing The Righteous Brothers songs to my mother. I was born in 64 and so glad I was raised on this music!
Yes, you have just been hit by The Righteous Brothers' "Thunder & Lightning!!!" Bill Medley (Deep Baritone voice) is "Thunder" and Bobby Hatfield (R.I.P.) (High Tenor voice) is "Lightning." They sing amazing individually and as a dynamic duo...Their voices just go perfectly together like "Peanut Butter & Jelly," "Macaroni & Cheese," "Fish & Chips," "Burgers & Fries," "Biscuits & Gravy," "Corned Beef & Cabbage," "Shrimp & Grits," "Rice & Beans," "Chips & Salsa," "Cake & Ice Cream," "Milk & Cookies, "Coffee & Donuts," etc. You get the picture and it's easy to see why they are considered to be one of the greatest duos of all time...Hands down!!! Mic-Drop!!! 🎤
I agree. Their voices blend so well together.
I’d forgotten how great they were❤
They were very popular and very soulful. You might want to check out a couple more of their songs like Rock 'n roll heaven and Soul and Inspiration. Love songs and lyrics of this generation were more tender and respectful than now. Another great voice was that of Elvis Presley especially when he did ballads. A huge range and wonderful tone. Soulful tender voices
i remember when i was young my older sisters buying this song and playing it over and over but it is a masterpiece loved your reaction
We used to call them "Blue Eyed Soul."
Yes...Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield were swooning idols and the gals went crazy ! Very talented duo !
The world could use more love songs. Now more than ever, I believe.
Both were good solo, together magic. Love watching your face as you listen.
That was the best reaction ever to such a great song
This is men singing to a woman rather than about her. These guys are making women swoon nearly 60 years gone. How many rappers or pop stars will be able to say that?
Soul and inspiration will break you down to tears bigtime
They helped teach teenagers to love with all of their being, the heart, the mind, the touch, the look in the eyes. These aspects were the beginning of intimacy.
Listen to, ''Soul and Inspiration'', by the Righteous Brothers !
First of all, this is a truly GREAT SONG! The mix of Phil Spector's wall of sound, the lyrics, the tidal wave of background singers, the orchestration and most of all, the beauty of two human voices carrying this remarkably beautiful message of lost love......it is eternal stuff.
And thanks for sharing your reaction with us, very well told.
The orchestra was great and for those days it was especially cool to see that diverse group of background singers!
Why do you morons always have to bring race into it? Jack asses!
@@williamcabell142Where were u in 1965? it aint easy being a moronic jack ass Billy and u should know.
One of those background singers is a very young Cher.
@@daventunes3822 that was because of Phil Specter.
@@daventunes3822 Uggghhhh
These guys were so great. "Blue-Eyed Soul," Baby!
If you liked this song, please react to Soul and Inspiration. It was written as a follow-up to the success of this song by the same writers, features the beautiful harmonies of both "brothers" (they weren't related), and peaked at #1 for three straight weeks in 1966. And yes, Soul and Inspiration is a very romantic love song!
This one 👆 you'll love it .
Posted the same request before I even saw this :)
The great songs will always remain the greatest songs till the end of time.
Even if they're temporarily forgotten they are still always the greatest songs.
Top Gun! Love you and missed you so much Mona. ❤️❤❤❤❤
I think I have watched this 100 times now, truly. I love your reactions. and I'm sure I have fallin in love with you! Thank you
Great reaction! Highly recommend Bobby singing Summertime, vocal acrobatics with his incredible range, no falsetto… 😀
they were #1
My sister hung at a bar in hollywood cuz the Bros sometimes dropped in... And she wasn't alone!
Another great reaction Pink!
I love your reactions keep it up 👍 keep posting more thanks 🙏
Me too!!
And that's why it was the most requested song of the 20th century! One of the young women in the background was called Cher. Don't know what happened to her... The live version of Unchained Melody is next, if you haven't heard it already.
This is one of the best reaction vids to this song l've seen. Thank you , thank you, thank you for saving your comments until the end. Pausing during the song breaks the magic. Your facial expression portrayed more than words. Keep them coming!
They were my first concert. Check out their song I Want to Make Love You.
Yes, they were dreamy. The only singer's picture I ever kept in my dresser was Bobby Hatfield's, when I was 11! I kept that picture for years.
Awwww wow ❤
You heard one these performers sing the theme song from 'Dirty Dancing' sung by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes in 1987. You heard Bills deep voice in the song, (I've Had) The Time of My Life.
So..... Welcome to blue eyed soul. Awesome reaction video! James from Chicago
Do Summertime and Soul and Insperation.they hav sooo many more.i luv your channel n your big screen for us to see n bring bak memories.tnk u for that.❤im 70.that was my era.❤
Great jam!
So pure and innocent. Keep reacting child. I really enjoy it.
MASTERFUL!!!
I bet no one has recommended Fatherless child by Mystique or Mystic I can’t remember her name but the song will make you cry I bet
Cantantes así cada 200 o 300 años
good to see you kiddo!
Hey Rob!! Thanks for stopping by ❤
"Soul and Inspiration" should be next.
The expression on your face says it all. These guys had such amazing voices. From tender to full-out... perfection. And this was before any of that autotune rubbish. And ladies are still swooning to this :) They weren't full-on sex symbols (try Tom Jones for that - if you haven't heard him sing "It's Not Unusual", do so!), but there would've been a lot of babies born thanks to this music! The actress you were trying to remember from Ghost was Demi Moore, BTW.
Damn !! It’s been awhile. Glad to back
You should also check out "Soul and Inspiration"
Per BMI, ghis was the #1 played/requested song of the 20th century. They were anazing together.
If you haven't yet, give a listen to their song "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration." It's my favorite by them. btw, back in the late '80s I saw Bill Medley at the Righteous Brothers Hop Restaurant in Fountain Valley, California, while I was fixing the venue's copier. Medley was coaching several singers for an upcoming show. Didn't get the chance to talk to him, though.
Am subscribing.
Blue eyed soul
Check out Morisette Amon - the song called "could you be messiah"
I really like that you let the whole song play then comment after. Those channels that interrupt the song over and over with comments just keep us from enjoying the song. You are doing this just as it should be done.
Bill Medley (Deep Tenor voice) and Bobby Hatfield are not brothers, and yes....they swooned the women! You should also react to "Soul and Inspiration"
Good to see you girl!
Thanks Jared!😊
Were have you been missed you. Glad your back. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Glad to be back! Thanks Delilah ❤
Glad to see you back again dear. Missed u
I think it is time for Pink to react to Soul and Inspiration. AND the ultimate love song: I Just Want to Make Love to You.
You just got called out! Bring back "That Loving Feeling!"!
I'd like to see you react to "Rev Horton Heat" 'Let me teach you how to eat' It's rockabilly music, I think you might like it.
The Righteous Brothers were definitely sex symbols for adolescent and teenage girls in the 1960s. I would not be surprised that some of them had photo collections from Rock music magazines of the era, and perhaps a wall poster. Wall posters were just starting to get popular during the 1960s. The most popular posters from Rock acts were ones by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Yardbirds, The Who, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, and Jefferson Airplane.
I’ve got a Bill Medley poster on my wall right NOW!
That was great! That insight on how much music has changed reflects how societal norms and values have changed over the decades.
To paraphrase this song:
We've lost those loving lyrics,
Whooah those loving lyrics.
Bring back those loving lyrics!
Cause their gone, gone, gone,
And it can't go on.
Whoa-oh-oo-oh...
Love when you react to stuff from way back. Keep em coming
I'm so glad that you got to experience the magic of them together!
Love your pure honest reactions
Have you done Soul and Inspiration by the Righteous Brothers. Do that one it's Beautiful as well.
Hi! I don't know whether they were "hot stuff " back then. I was barely born. Lol I just looked this group/ partnership up recently (I recall our mom listening to this on the radio, but, again, I was pretty young. Lol dob 9/23/1964)
Yes, they were hot stuff back then! We called Bobby the cute one and Bill the sexy one. I’m a Medleymaniac to this day! Bill is still performing, and I have a ticket to see him!!! (DOB 1948 for me.)
This is a cover to the Tom Cruise scene in Top Gun 🤪
Just subscribed to your channel - keep the reactions going :)
Can we all admit it this was righteously awesome .. gotta lover the old school rock … rl
Hey Pink :-)
Have you ever considered trying asmr, you have the perfect voice for it :-)
There's a great video from the TV show Shindig which shows the Brothers' love of the blues. Here they are jamming with the Blossoms in the great Ray Charles song, Night Time is the Right Time - ruclips.net/video/uM-4CUzpjJU/видео.html
Great job 👍 with your reaction to You Lost That Loving Feeling from the Righteous Brothers l Heard one of the back up Singer is a very Young Cher.
I loved watching your reaction of this great song. Your eyes were rivoted on the video, and your eyebrow told the story !! Keep it up !!
You seem to enjoy great voices .so check out cold chisel singing bow river .live performance ringside. There lead vocalist jimmy barnes now in his 70s still kills a tune.example jimmy barnes and joe banamossa with stone cold.joe is amazing guitarist .
How many kids were born 9 months after this song was released?
Haha
I'm so glad you reacted to this!! Try their other song "you're my soul and inspiration" it's fantastic too!
Ya back then lots of people thought they were black because they sound. Buddy holly, Elvis, but they thought Chuck Berry was white because they never herd anyone played a six string the way he played it. He is the truly Jukebox hero.
Try ‘To Sir with Love’ I bet your eyes will leak!
Thanks for this suggestion!!
@@PinkMetalHead , I pray I don’t miss it!
Hope your doing good .. be blessed your one my first ten subs … and great song selection to react to … such a awesome classic … 💯❤️✌️
I seen a interview with them how they got their name as their not brother's
After sing in a night club someone in the audience shouted out that was rigorous brother's hence the name
15/10 - Class-Sick Song right here.
You wanted to know how the Ladies reacted back then. I found a real good example. Here is a link to another reaction to "Unchained Melody" by TOO SUSHI. Her reaction and statements reflect the feelings of the Ladies then. Good to see you back. ruclips.net/video/uju92qlDSXk/видео.html
Thanks for sharing!
Love this record. I believe it was Phil Spector who produced it.
I'm a new subscriber! The Righteous Brothers were incredibly smooth. Amazing the talent that was out there in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s....
I recommend also checking out Elvis Presley's live Vegas version of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" from 1970. It's a little more raw with a lot more physicality and soul.
I'm subscribed my dear! C'mon everyone hit the subscribed button! Maybe Pink'll show us some songs about putting our fingers together. I can't seem to find any!
Haha 😂
OMG The Righteous Brothers. Not biological brothers but gosh almighty they could harmonize so beautiful. Bill Medley
Bobby Hatfield.
Check out some of John Farnham’s live songs
A Beautiful lady and a Beautiful song. Don't get much better than that!
Thank you Ken!
Cher sang backup on this song.
The songs they performed were considered "panty droppers" and their music was a large reason the birth rate then was higher than now.
This is a favorite for me. Years ago my boyfriend (now husband) and I were at a Captain (rum) pool party, I thought we were leaving so I started to walk next thing I know he grabs my hand and starts singing this to me in front of about 100 people we didn’t know. He got a resounding applause from everyone.
Try listening to One Ok Rock : Heartache (studio jam session)
You might like Lou Rawls
If you have not already seen it, you would enjoy Haley Reinhart singing "Can't Help Falling in Love" for the Extra gum commercial. While I love seeing Haley sing, watching the version that has the full commercial ad is most impactful in my opinion. There is a version that cuts in and out between Haley and the ad, but seeing the full ad is so cool. I think you'd like it if you have not already seen it.
You bet they were sex symbols. Beautiful and exceptional timbre in both your voices.
