Just because you missed it (a lot of people did) when they blame each other for the song "Fack", it means that neither of them wrote the song, Ken Kaniff did. (Ken is the weird guy in the "Guess Who's Back" skit)
Ken kanif was originally portrayed by a different rapper. He published multiple albums. More likely Eminem wrote fack if neither Marshal nor slim did

when the release of this album was anounced, i said that Marshal is a person that knows himself very very well, and his self judgement is an example. Guilty Conscience2 could b even harder and we can conect that song to this Face-Off, its a masterpiece. After listening to the album i never saw this as being the return of Slim, it is him showing us that ppl change, that he still can be that person but he evolved into something diferent while having the same vision and posture about the wordl and hip hop. also being "the bad guy" and keep reacting to all the atacks from left to right takes a lot of energy, time, and can put u in a bad place. old eminem would never let benzino out of his bars after the last posts and interviews he gave. Basicaly Slim is no longer needed to protect him, but Marshal is totaly aware that Slim is needed in the lyrics to keep writing what he want, don´t giving 2Fks about no one! its a mindset, a powerfull one!!! Marshal is like, u try to point something bad about him but probably he already acknowledged that and even made fun of himself too. and that is Slim Shady, Eminem writing skills and Marshall as a human being just like us.
I’m very blessed to not understand addiction on a personal level. And I have been on a journey now for years trying to understand it because I just can’t grasp what that disease is like. Hearing your perspective on this is really helping me understand how recovery works. The mindset I had before was that they just didn’t have willpower. And hearing Eminem say it has nothing to do with discipline was eye-opening for me..
And you describing how this is what recovery looks like is helping me understand. I want to have empathy for people who are struggling with this and I feel like this is helping me get there.

Marshall is trying to get that era of Slim to understand it, but Slim cannot understand why he grew up, became sober, and how it's not the same world where everything can be a joke, now

Eminem is the combination of Marshall (The sober one that cares about everyone) and slim shady (the drugged up offensive rapper that doesnt give a fuck) the story is him learning to come to grips with accepting what he is and who he is. Hes really starting to build on this story and I love it.

At Minute 2:30 till 2:48 just opened up a new perspective on how I look at me and my addiction.
His old self, "the addiction", lies to him and says he hasn't had any good songs since Slim Shady disappeared. That is the addict and a darker force lying to him. He has had plenty of great songs since then. Headlights being one that showed an extreme amount of growth and healing from the relationship and trauma from his mother. Bad Husband about Kim, which showed maturity, ownership of faults, and forgiveness. There are many more but the point is he can and has made good raps and songs since recovering. He can take certain characteristics from Slim Shady, like speaking your mind but with more of a filter and mindfulness of people's feelings to a degree. He can take some of Slims humor and even dark humor in a joking way , but with modification and some filter. He can't go back to completely wildin out with no filter and with all the pills and booze. He has come too far, but he can take aspects of Slim but with modification and some filtering because he is more mature now and has healed more now.
I love how alot is going over people's heads , 😂 . I'm sitting here enjoying the best roll out to ever be done ❤

But you need that shady phase or that monster is bound to come out of you, if have trauma in your past, and yes I was lost. You’re demons do take you to the edge, where you literally don’t know who you even are, it’s a whole thing. But Slim Shady may have been .. you know… a manifestation of Marshall’s issues, but he wasn’t offensive.weird how much his voice changed, his younger voice kinda has a southern drawl “ when I’m gaaan just carry aaan”

It’s a joke! It’s not meant to be taken so serious. It’s part of a semi-fictional story his album is telling. Where truth and lie cannot be told apart on purpose…. that’s the art of it. It’s a crutch so he can introduce you to the story Slim vs Marshall, which at the same time is a real inner conflict of his…. and evidently subject matter to his own therapy and recovery.
