@@Player5SR Just getting around to watching this - so will probably have to save my question for a Twitch stream ... but how are wind bombs a glitch but stasis launches are not ???
Epona did such a great job getting to ganon's castle that she was all tuckered out and called in a replacement for the final boss Super fun run to watch, it's a lot more enjoyable watching boulder/tree rides which seem somewhat intended rather than clipping through walls and floating/catapulting yourself through the air with bombs
How is fall damage cancel not considered a major glitch? I get attack swing cancel(with the jump) being questionably a glitch, but a full fall damage cancellation?
It's not a major glitch in that it doesn't have a big impact on gameplay. It's only useful on plateau because you get glider after. We use it twice to save probably 5-10 seconds max and it doesn't change the route at all if you remove it. Major glitches are something that the community defines and botw has very strict definitions compared to a game like Majora's Mask where major glitches are things like Arbitrary Code Execution and Stale Reference Manipulation which would allow the player to warp to the end of the game.
Player5 I can’t reply for some reason it’s a glitch but how do you get your controller button layout thing on screen ( not in this video but in other )
I'm just confused as to why this category exists. All it showcases versus Any% is walking around. Usually Any% NMG shows up in games like Portal, which are completely unwatchable unless you outlaw certain glitches.
Well for BotW this is essentially the "glitchless" category because there isn't an official glitchless leaderboard. I would have liked for it to be completely glitchless but the category was created before I started running so it's not like I had a say in the matter.
Heck yeah, good job. Regarding the GDQ talk early on, they've featured runs that have gone upwards of eight or nine hours in the past, main ones I'm familiar with being for Final Fantasy 7,8, and 9. Most recently, it seems, there was a nearly seven hour run of FF7 at AGDQ 2023. As for TP low percent, they actually featured that at ESA (European Speedrunner Assembly, for the unfamiliar) last year. For the first slide glitch, they did a quick side run of the Zelda themed Picross game for the 3DS, and for the really long one in Arbiter's Grounds, they all just went to sleep for the night and left the stream running. As I understand it, they have two streams going at their marathons and are therefore more willing to do silly stuff like that on the second one.
That's pretty cool! I was pretty sure I remembered there being some FF games at previous GDQs and it's neat that a low% showcase has actually happened in a big marathon.
Dude is chill af, hits a wr and doesn’t even say anything about it
I was here and fell asleep! 😭😭
Congratulations! Justice for Epona! 🐎

Nice run keep it up !
Sad i didnt get to see it tho
This game is a decade old oh my god
After 2 months of TOTK, I predicted we'd be back here. I just wish it hadn't taken so long.
Never realized BILs and BTBs were considered glitches.
BTBs are because they exploit the physics engine to achieve things that shouldn't be possible but i'm not sure about BILs
tp low transformations has to do the slide twice

Explained in the description: category is not actually called No Major Glitches but Bug Limit, and a few specific glitches are allowed
@@electricechoemporiumand fall dmg cancel isnt that major

wait why are Bullet bounces not allowed?
they are not a glitch they are physics
Warum auf deitsch, ist das die schnellste sprache, why german is that the fastest language?
I like how you switched language and just translated in the very same sentence (sorry for not having the answer though)
Ja
German is fastest for any% but Italian is fastest for all dungeons(not all main quests)
@@Mikebus585-nt6yyand french is fastest for any% and english for 100% if im right
German is the fastest for bug limit any% because we watch the cutscenes in the Shrine of Resurrection which are faster in German than other languages.
Hundo when?
RIP Epona
