This is a great idea that can be applied to almost any type of curtain materials. I used black fleece that I purchased from a fabric store and originally had a friend sew the "hook" half of velcro tabs to the material around the perimeter. I then stuck it to the carpeted headliner around the window frame, but found after repeated on and offs the velcro started to "pull" the carpet. The snaps are a great idea. No you're not some kind of "moron".....sometimes it's products from Amazon. I ordered my snaps from a place called Sailrite. A few more bucks but are higher quality. As a tip you can add a small "pull tab" of 1" wide nylon strapping to grasp and pull when removing the curtain so you don't pull the snap head thru your curtain material. Thanks for the idea!
I've had snap on curtains for years. I use a automotive trim removal tool from harbor freight to take down the curtains. The snaps can be very hard to undo sometimes and you end up pulling the snap through the curtain. The removal tool prevents this. Also a little lube on the snaps makes the connection easier.
Im going to try this. The kit that is listed in the description.. is that the correct kit? U said you had to order a second kit… which kit is listed in the description?
@@Outdoor.pixels thanks. Currently, i used the existing screws and screwed the curtain materials on the top to the existing holes. I toll the curtains up and velcro the When im not using them. I have a few truck camping videos from last year. Check em out. Thanks for the suggestion. Ill let ya know how it goes.

Great video buddy I think I can do this to my camper
Screw snaps...what a great idea! You always do a good job of explaining and demonstrating.
Thank you!
Wonder if you can make window screens this way too.

That’s the only think I’ve worried about cuz the reflectix isn’t very strong I’m worried it’s going to pull through the reflectix
