This is a definite for my daughters wedding❤
The way you make the acrylic signs using the Cricut is brilliant. You are the Cricut whisperer!
It’s always nerve raking when it’s for someone else. You did an awesome job! Love!❤️
Haha totally!!!!! Thanks =)
You probably dont care at all but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account?
I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any help you can give me
@Derek Juelz instablaster ;)
@Gavin Decker thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Gavin Decker It worked and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account !
It came out so pretty! I’m working on one for my daughter’s baby shower. I’m scared lol. I have the words cut out. Scared of the paint part lol. Thank you for your tutorial. I love your sweet spirit!
You can do it!
Beautiful
Thank you

Thanks and welcome!
So lucky I watched your video first before attempting my first project like this. Luckily it's only an A4 size😅
You can do it!
I love your videos so much. You’re my favorite RUclipsr right now!
OMG thank you!!!! =)
Beautiful!! I was looking for inspo and found what I needed!
Glad it was helpful!
No flowers it’s just fine alone. Looks good.
Oh I love it!!! It’s so beautiful.
Thank you! 😊
Thank you I have been watching your tutorials and they are so easy to follow. Your work is amazing.
Thank you so much!
Thanks for this, sign looks great! I have an idea what I can do now with my signage
Have fun!
Painting mine tonight. wish me luck!
Good luck!! You got this!
Beautiful project 👏👏👏 love your work 😊
Just got a new cricut for Christmas still trying to learn 😊
Thank you! 😊
Ughh where was this tutorial this weekend when I attempted this very same this for the first time .. it was a total fail the first time but managed to salvage it at the end. But this would have been so helpful !!
Oh no! I bet it still turned out beautifully. :)
Absolutely amazing! Love it!
Glad you like it! Thank you!
This a great and thought out tutorial. Great work.
Thank you! I'm glad it was helpful. 🙂
Oh wow very beautiful
This is amazing An! Keep the videos coming!
Next time you can use parchment paper so you can lay your design, line it up and move the parchment paper as you adhere your design. The parchment paper keeps your design from sticking to the surface until you’re ready. Thanks for sharing. Nice work.
Great tip!
Hi An. Wow this sign is gorgeous!! I have worked with small acrylic pieces, like key chains, ornaments, and I can not get the bubbles out! I mean it’s horrible! I have never been able to finish an acrylic piece. I heard that I should use the wet method but have yet to try that. I would love to see u make a solid image design. I think text is less likely to get bubbles versus a solid image.I buy acrylic blanks from BAM blanks and 651 vinyl. I am working on a pencil shaped name plate for a teachers desk and wow it’s hard. 😀 thank you so much for this tutorial. They will LOVE that sign! What a nice wedding gift.
Wow! Thank you for sharing.
Yay! So glad you liked it. =)
Gorgeous! Did Mariela love it? Just a wonderful vlog! I’d love to see the process of putting the fonts together!
She did! My daughter ever got to present it to her so it was super cute. =)
Wow. It turned out beautiful. Just came across your video. I’ll be helping my niece with signs for her upcoming wedding in March. My fear is longing it up straight. Never thought to do it the way you did. Will definitely try this method. Thank you! Do you only do one coat of paint?
You can do it! Yes, only one coat.
Hello, awesome video! I learnt so much. Do you have a video of how you make the paper templates to add underneath the acrylic? Thanks
Hi Lorrel! Watch this one. I think it will help: ruclips.net/video/cepneora-rw/видео.html
Omg u have patience but this turned out lovely
Loved this thank you so much for sharing it
Looks great!!
Beautiful!
For the stencil used under the acrylic, can I use my printer paper of 8.5/11? I do not have 11 x 11 sheets of paper to use
Perfect tutorial! Do you have a pic of the final design with the flowers?
There are some pics at the bottom of this post: bit.ly/3zWzJby
What size and how did you make the vinyl letter? Can you show when it goes and come out of the cricut because I want to make one as a gift for my first born great niece
Hi! I recently did a video recreating this sign within Design Space. Please watch this one - ruclips.net/video/lu-f3DXlsW0/видео.html . Let me know if you have any questions. It's a beautiful sign and I'm sure your family will LOVE it. And it's practically fool-proof. LOL.
Can you do a video on design space showing us how you designed it and printed large on your cricut. So much to learn, I am trying to DIY a similar sign for my wedding
It's time for me to do another acrylic sign! Yes, I'll try to do it soon. When is your wedding?
The Useless Crafter sept 25, 2021
Yes!!!!! We have time!!!! Do you want to send me the details? I’ll change the date so not everyone has to know? But I can do a tutorial specific to yours. Send acrylic size and details to an@theuselesscrafter.com. And congrats!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Omg can you tell I haven’t had enough sleep?!?! You have me the date, I acknowledged it, and then said I didn’t know it?!?! 😬🤦♀️😂.
@@TheUselessCrafter Sent, thanks. This will be amazing.
Hello, I’m the beginning of the video you stated you had the template drawn. Can I ask exactly how you did that . Don’t understand that part. Love love the rest of the video very informative
Hi! So I make a copy of the image that will be cut out in vinyl, and instead use the draw feature of the cricut. This way I can put it under the vinyl and make sure everything lines up completely.
I have another video that might be helpful - ruclips.net/video/IGfrTOjvjFo/видео.html
beautiful work what size fonts did you use for that size?
Do you let the clients keep the sign
@@alexisliburd8204 I would. If you’re making this and selling it, I would factor in all the costs of the materials and then your time ❤️
I love your sign and I have searched and searched for the fonts you noted but can not find them as noted on the sites. I found Delisa but it's not the same one as I can see the "s" is different. Any advice or links you can share on both the Delisa font and the Desyanti font?
Hi! They're both from fontbundles.net. I don't always pay for my fonts, so the free ones may not be available anymore. Did you try that site? I'll try to look for comparable fonts for you. My new source is Creative Fabrica. I am an affiliate (just to be upfront), but there are sooo many fonts to choose from.
Hi I love this piece! What type and brand of paint did you use? I tried chalk paint but it did not come out as expected. Thanks :)
Acrylic paint from Michael's =) I think it's called Artist Loft.
So when I placed my vinyl on my acrylic with the transfer tape it looked smooth but when I pulled the transfer tape back it left so many bubbles. I used the cricut brand transfer tape which is very very sticky do you think probably it’s the transfer tape that’s creating the bubbles while I remove it. I’m thinking I should try a different transfer tape
Alexa I use all kinds of transfer tape, but I use Cricut a lot cause at the beginning I bought so much! Lol. You could rub it against your jeans a bit to make it less sticky. Most important though, is to keep the whole thing super taut/tight as you lay it down. I have zero bubbles doing it this way. Keep me posted ❤️❤️❤️
Looks amazing! What font did you use and well as what cutter for the lettering?
I have the Cricut maker. I believe the fonts are Yessy (dafont) and Desayi (fontbundles - paid). In general I love both those sites for fonts.
@@TheUselessCrafter Thank you!
Where do u sell your stuff ...great video !
Send me an email to an@theuselesscrafter.com. I only take a few orders at a time. =)
How did you print the paper template? I am new to using cricut and I can’t figure out how to print that paper template
Hi! You basically choose to draw instead of cut in Design Space. I have the Design Space tutorial. =)
@@TheUselessCrafter Please share the link. Thank you
ok, my finished work is 23.5 x 14.5...
Can you help me with the co-ordinate X, Y figures. im trying to follow the instructions and seem to be stuck
hi! I'm not sure where you're stuck. If your image is that size, you're going to need a total of 6 squares. Can you send a screenshot to my email at an@theuselesscrafter.com?
@@TheUselessCrafter how do you make the 6 squares??
Hi Kimberly! If its helpful you can purchase the grid of squares on my website! bit.ly/3AcJaDU ☺
Hi! What transfer paper do you use?
I use both Cricut and the cheapy one from the Dollar Tree. I'm so used to both and I use whatever is closest to me.
I don't really agree with the complaints that you hear about the Cricut one being too sticky. But I rarely transfer onto cardstock. So that might be the difference. If I put vinyl on cardstock, I almost always choose the HTV (heat transfer vinyl) route that transfer paper won't matter. I hope this helps!
Hi , what size did you cut the letters?
Hi! I recently recreated this sign in Design Space because I got so many emails on it. =). ruclips.net/video/lu-f3DXlsW0/видео.html
Let me know if you have any questions after!
where did you buy the acrylic sheet?
I've done both Amazon and Home Depot. =)
beautiful! i might have missed it, im sneaking and watching this at work lol. where did u get the blank?
kelcey stuart lol glad this helps at work ... Amazon!
What type of paint did you use please?
IT's just acrylic paint from Michael's. =)
Beautiful
What vinyl brand did you use?
For this project I used Cricut vinyl.
