- SOLD- incredible Dodge Ram conversion van by Chrystar, a premium manufacturer. This vehicle is remarkably well preserved, and was always stored indoors by the one prior owner when not in use. It was used seasonally only, to drive down to Florida from up north in the beginning of winter, and back up again in the Spring - otherwise, it was indoors and covered. It has also recently received a very expensive technology overhaul, including a large flat screen television, two rear screens behind the front seats, a Sony Playstation 3 for DVDs and games, Parrot Bluetooth system, and a Premium JVC dashboard stereo with multiple speakers. The fit and finish match the ultra-high quality materials, and amenities include all leather seats, real wood trim throughout, front and rear air conditioning, power folding couch/bed, interior lighting system, and much more. This van is loaded. Power comes from a 5.2 Liter V8 coupled to a 4 speed automatic, with a large receiver hitch and 4800 lbs. towing capacity. Come a long way since those cab-over vans. Beautiful. Amazing what they can do with these things.
I like it! Even can sleep inside? Cool! Just need a few things to me; 1- a freezer which can keep your cold drinks, and 2- a kitchen (or at least a microwave) to warm up some things
I always had a soft spot for these vans. They were very well thought out. Great use of space thanks to the flat floor from the unit body construction. Also had a decent selection of engines. They were easier to service than the Ford and GM offerings too.

I miss these vans. Thy don't make them like this anymore. Look at a new Explorer or Sherrod van and neither of them compare to these.

The first thing I did when I got my 1997 that was close to identical. Best ride ever and I had a Shelby. Funny, I too drove mine to northern California and back all the time to visit my Mom off the Eel River, Mendocino. Traveling in this comfortable, quiet van with a workhorse engine was a dream come true. I had spoiled kids and dogs.
