Built in my home city of Windsor Ontario, Canada! Pielette Road Truck Assembly Plant was where they were built. The factory being full of asbestos was Chryslers excuse of demolishing that plant in 2003.

I have a 2002 Dodge 1500B Elk van conversion as well. Having an issue with it not starting. I was told to check the crank shaft position sensor.

I have autism just so you know, so my observance is different from most who don't have autism, but like those without autism, I can still drive, however, I'm looking at the bucket seat by the two swinging doors in the second row. All others each have a cupholder, but this one I'm referring to doesn't, is there a reason for that? I don't think there is, I'm sure anyone who sat there had to struggle with the challenge of having to hold his/her pop can in his hands for more hours than he/she could tolerate. I wouldn't have if it was me. If you're a father with a mother and two kids, and one has a drink slot and the other doesn't, then you should help him/her by giving him/her an additional cupholder, like a pair in a portable console or tray down on the floor between the two bucket seats, or even the kind with a base that folds down and a pair of claws that folds up and out on both sides and glue and screw it on one of the swinging doors, then he/she wouldn't have to deal with that unreasonable challenge anymore.

Thank you for the question. I am sorry I don’t have much experience with this vehicle. I hope someone will answer that question for you. When we have gotten in trade we were very suppressed how of good shape it was.
Those were built like tanks,unfortunately they are not made any more.
I own 2 now and have owned a few more over the years. The 1994-2003 Ram Vans are fairly reliable. I'd score them at about 95% of 100. The only 2 problems usually occur around 150,000-200,000 miles. They're gonna need a transmission overhaul. Pro tip, as soon as you feel slipping find a shop to rebuild your transmission. It will save you big money over trying to put it off and keep driving it. But once itis rebuilt and updated you'll never have to worry about it ever again. The other headache is the plenum gasket. The 3.9, 5.2 and 5.9 liter magnum series motors used in these develop plenum seal/gasket leaks. Usually not bad enough to effect drivability. But it will cause oil consumption and foul spark plugs as a result. You can probably get by a long time checking the oil regularly and changing plugs every 20 or 30 thousand miles. But if you live in an area where smog checks are a thing this could cause a failure. Personally I'll tackle the transmission building myself but the intake plenum seals on a van I take to a shop. The one I use gets it done in 2 days for around $700. It's not a hard job in a Dakota, Durango or Ram truck but in the van the motor sits under the dash and makes the job exponentially more difficult.
