Hello teacher! I have a question that I'm sure you know how to answer. When I open the hole to make the base of the cylinder, it is very difficult for me and the clay is off-center. Could this be because the clay is too hard or not wedged? Thank you so much!
Thank you for your comment. If the clay is off center, it will be difficult to make! The cause is the hardness of the clay, but I think the main factor is insufficient adhesion between the turntable and the clay. I think the problem can be solved if you can firmly tap the clay to firmly adhere the turntable and clay when setting the clay. please refer.

粘土の重さを揃えておくと大きさも自然と揃うのですよね。今回も、先生らしくとても分かり易い内容でした。

私自身は1ケ引きは得意ではないので通常はしませんが、粘土の量を揃えることの利点はありますね！
いつもお優しい言葉に感謝です！
今後、作品を作るに辺り粘土の量が参考に成りました。
また、量が分かり、慣れてきたら、幾つか作る時に器の大きさが揃うのかと気づき轆轤にむかうのが、益々面白くなりそうです。
お猪口から、中華そばの器まで遊びごごろでチャレンジしてみます。

If you fail, you can try again and use it.
If it is not fired in a kiln, it will return to clay and can be reused.
500gのとき、粘土が滑っても焦らず落ち着いて切り直せば良いのかと、いろいろ参考に成りました。

土ゴロシの時に粘土が動いてしまったら、再度中心に接着すればリスタート出来ます。
最初にズレてしまうと焦りますが、丁寧にリカバリーすると大丈夫です。
