I really enjoyed this video, she really give a good description of the island and the people, I could visualise it.I laughed so hard at the cho cho story. It made my day. You got to love our Caribbean people, never a dull moment. 😂😂😂
My goodness that's how my late husband said I couldn't go to Ja.without him,we got married on his first trip to Jamaica.keep loving him sister.i had a great life with him
We also have a festival in December called Nine Mornings. As the names suggests, it's a cultural festival held around 4:00 am every moring in different villages and towns, nine days before Christmas
It’s crazy how she didn’t know where St Vincent was located. Caribbean people get on Americans for not knowing where their countries are located and some people in the Caribbean doesn’t know themselves.
Xavier, nice interview once more. Your guest did exemplified that typical Jamaican fiery character, generally speaking. Vincentians are conservative and more reserved, yes! But you will also find similar characteristics in segment of the Jamaican populations as well. Heads of governments in CARICOM will need to take notes that significant percentage of Jamaican citizens not aware of the Caribbean countries that constitute the organization. 😢😢😢 Yes, Geography and History were once popular subjects.
Guys sorry about the mix up with mangoose and manicu they look the same to me … I humbly apologise. I wouldn’t want to say something that’s not true. Forgive me
Information about the road going around the island was heavily thought about, the government decided not to build the road do to the threats of volcanic eruptions would destroy the road, so it would be to pricey.

Hi Xavier, this is my first time responding to your channel. Listening to you and Sherrie. I'd like to correct something that she said, Manicou is of the marsupial specie. It's an opossum . A mongoose is different and an Iquana is a herbivore..
Vincentians reserved? You haven’t met the true Vincies….Perhaps these are the new or younger generation of Vincentian….Take myself, I’m very outspoken from jump and tell it like it is….Vincentians and Jamaicans for the most part have similar dialect and parlance, especially those in the country or rural areas….
A Jamaican woman who is a doctor got married to an Antiguan man who is a doctor also went to visit his Parents she saw the mom preparing a man goose she quickly feigned being sick so she did not have to eat her poor husband to this day doesn't know the true story.
I remember when Jamaicans use to call us “ small island back ah bush country”. Now all of a sudden vincy is the best thing since sliced bread. Anyways let’s hope it’s only the upright sensible Jamaicans who come to our country AND they don’t bring their boasting ways there. Jamaicans will pick up and migrate to vincy you will rarely see vincy people migrate to Jamaica.
I’m Vincentian and I’m here dying with laughter, because she’s so accurate.
