As a host, occasionally you'll have a guest who's a brilliant narrator, thereby making your show and your job most intriguing and effortless. This is one such individual, Dewayne.
One of the best interviews! Dewayne knew his stuff about his current country. He kept the conversation flowing without Xavier having to ask too many questions. Dewayne seemed very happy, which is wonderful. Nice that he reconnected with his childhood friend from watching this series. And, yes, Xavier, Jamaicans are surely advertising KFC and Tastee/Juici patties on almost EVERY interview. They need to be paid by these companies. 😀
Well done my son Dewayne, you have represented yourself and country well, you are knowledgeable of the culture, good interview. I am very proud of you.
Dwayne never skip a beat I was intrigued the whole time watching it would seems like he was there for over a decade. Keep them coming Xavier, have a bless Sunday y,all
@@teacheryute6701 hey brother how are you well im happy to see a Jamaican in Bahrain coz I know jamaica for last 18 years i just love Jamaica will be great to meet you for real
Well, he´s a teacher and living in an Arabic country so it goes without saying that he would be able to learn the language....he´s a smart gentleman so he has embraced the culture well
This is very impressive. Dwayne you have learned the culture and everything so well. You are a great teacher fi real. The Bahraini people are very discipline.
Another brilliant interview Xavier and Dewayne appears to be having a great time out there in Bahrain. You can tell that he enjoys teaching and it must be so rewarding to teach those students who are so eager to learn. I wish him all the very best.
I have consistently enjoyed these interviews by Xavier but this i think is the best. Dewayne is articulate. Passionate. Knowledgable. I now want to visit Bahrain. Fabulous. Blessings. ♡♡♡🥰🇯🇲🇯🇲❤❤
🇯🇲 Most eloquent guest. Would've appreciated knowing what subject he teaches & the nation's pay-scale for his type of work. Very sure many prospective teachers are contemplating making the leap if the scale is right.
This is by far my favorite interview!! The flow of the conversation; very insightful and informative. Thank you Dewayne, brought back some memories of by time passing through Bahrain as an active duty member. American Alley was my spot too😁
Wow! I am so intrigued by this interview! DeWayne was amazing! I was completely captivated and learned a lot about Bahrain. So much so, that I was able to pronounce it properly😊. Well done Xavier! Love and Light to you as you continue to bless us with these beautiful interviews. More power to our Jamaicans living abroad and sharing with us. God bless!
Thanks for educating us, Teacher! I'm glad you knew how to say "goodbye" in an informal way. A lot of these interviews I've watched, when the interviewee is asked this question, the response is that he/she does not know, and he or she has been living in the country much, much longer than you've been living in Bahrain, which is only 3 or 4 years. I never quite understood that. I would imagine "Hello" and "Goodbye " are at least a couple of the first phrases one would pick up in a foreign country. Keep up the great work, Dewayne. Stay safe.
Xavier I love your program I almost can't wait to see the next episodes. Very interested interviews. It gives different perspectives on what's its like to live outside of Jamaica 🇯🇲 I'm hooked ❤
Very very interesting and intriguing interview. Dewayne looked very happy in Bahrain. Xavier you are doing a very good thing, showcasing Jamaicans all over the world. Nuff respect 🙏
Dewayne is very knowledgeable about the culture, I learnt a whole lot! I also love his expression! He is so animated and joyful! I think part of it is the fact that he is a teacher! My mom, also a teacher, is the same way! Love it!! 😄
Wow…another great interview….Dewayne is very articulate, intelligent, on point and a pleasure to listen to!! All the best…love how you represent JA…all the very best!!
Dwayne is very impressive in educating us on the culture. Phenomenal personality. I could have listened to him forever. Dwayne what side of the road they drive? Will you be visiting your friend in Malta?
You can tell from the get go when the person is going to be fun and riveting ....NOT that the others aren't but sometimes they tend to be a bit shy and less forthcoming ✌️
Another lively and informative interview. Learnt a lot about the Bahraini's culture and practices. Diwayne is a true Jamaican with good sense of humour.
Dwayne is such a delightful person so knowledgeable. I could continue listening awhile longer.Great interview makes me want to get there sometime soon.
Best interview in my opinion. Dewayne is jovial, a great communicator, very intelligent and undoubtedly a Teacher. Thanks Xavier for bringing him on your show..great job!
Wow! I enjoyed this interview immensely!🤗 Dwayne never stopped; he seemed to have taken in quite a lot about Bahrain during his short time of being there. He sold the place to me and makes it sounds like it's easy to live there as a foreigner. Thank you Xavier and Dwayne for an awesome interview.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤗❤
I enjoy your channel so much.. it is so informative..I am learning so much about how truly big this world is... I have never heard of Bahrain before this interview. Thanks Xavier for bringing the world to my front door.
Wonderful interview! Xavier, you are doing a great project...Informative, educational and inspiring! Keep up the good work...Jamaicans to the world!👏❤💯
Very nice interview. We have a mutual friend living in Bahrain that sent me this video 😅. Hopefully one day I'll get to visit and we all hang out..Bless
DeWayne's interview was powerful. Blessings! I can see he's having a great time in Bahrain.👏I had a colleague who went to teach in Bahrain and wrote back to say she enjoyed being there. I've lost touch with her, so I don't know if she's still there. When you mentioned the US military base, I remembered that, and also her saying, there was loads of entertainment.
Great interview, wonderful young man who represents the Country very well. I look forward to watching these every week and this one did not disappoint. I think Dwayne should stay in Bahrain, he seems to have found his groove there and I am sure any side hustle or business he may develop would do very well. Yes...I also like those Arab. Oud Colognes, here in USA we're often just getting copies but he's getting the real deal over there. Anyways..keep up the good work.
Wow!! I didn't want this interview to end, Dwayne is so articulate, fluent, intelligent, and fun, Jamaica loss Bahrain gain (brain drain). I would love to hang out with him when I visit Bahrain 🍗🍞🥙🍇🍺🍻🥂🍾🧃
Xavier I just can’t wait for more virtual tours around the world through our Jamaicans who are living in different parts of the world. Once again this was a great interview. The patty and the kfc thing again, mi mouth a wata.
Another brilliant interview! Dwayne undoubtedly is very knowledgeable and insightful. I am truly living vicariously and learning a lot through these interviews. One thing I learned from this interview: My favorite pair of earring is the tree of life pattern. I did not know about this iconic tree in Bahrain, so I had to do a quick Google search and learn something new today. Fascinating! 🇯🇲🇨🇦💞
Another great interview. Im a big time foody so i will do well there. 😄😄..On a serious note im getting a bit restless and seriously thinking about a change. Dewayne do you have any idea on what is the start up capital for that restaurant?

It seems like men are freer to do what they want. I would be curious to hear from a Jamaican woman living in Bahrain what it is like.
Continue to educate and try to convey back the language back to Jamaica.
Omg patty every time mi a tell yuh man as wi land.
