True story: I met this dude at a posing spot; he had a then new busa. We went out for a spin which was a pretty long distance from where we started. Once we got to the new spot which was around a lake btw, we all got the talkin and dude admitted that not only did his then fiance cheat on him 2 weeks before his wedding, but he also had been riding for TWO weeks before he went out and bought the new busa!!! He bought it because he was heartbroken...yeah.
I’ve owned 2 gen 1’s, a gen 2 and now own a gen 3 fitted with the Suzuki performance package [Yoshimura cans]. I love the look of all 3 generations but particularly love the much sharper sleeker gen 3, that is except the truly hideously grotesque exhaust silencers. I totally understand the need for larger end cans to incorporate cats to enable the bike to meet Euro 5 standards, however what the heck was the Suzuki design team smoking when they designed those awful cans that in my humble opinion totally detract from the beauty of the new bike. The Street legal Suzuki supplied Yoshimura slip on end cans that still have cats incorporated, may still be on the large size, but are literally in a different dimension looks wise. I was lucky enough to find a 2020 Busa with the Yoshi’s already fitted but seriously if I hadn’t I would have had to change the OEM cans before being able to be happy riding it. I truly believe the OEM cans absolutely ruin what would otherwise be a most beautiful well designed bike. I cannot keep my eyes off my new bike when I’m in the garage but no way would I feel like staring at the bike with those ugly cruise missiles attached. No offence meant to those that are happy with the OEM cans.
Suzuki have to pass traffic laws in differnent countries. In a lot of countrys there is a loudness restriction. And your dealer will be glad to sell you (and lot more rider) a new Yoshimura (or other brands). Suzuki will be happy if you changed some parts at the engine (yes even the cans !). If you have BROKEN ENGINE THE DEALER SAY = sorry not my problem (or suzuki). You pay, even if I was the person with the wrench, because you ordered the change of the exhaust system. No gurantee
First work and safe money. Never ever asl for credit ! Have a lot of money fpr petrol , tyres and some spare parts and oil and service and ... If you can not afford protective best leather cloth (and a good helmet) well ... What is wrong with your brain ? First try to start your own life and dont wait to long for a girl to marry. A normal good car is in some areas on these planet earth usefull . A bike not or only in some warm/hot areas. But a big and superfast bike never ever. Bike risk = 32 times higher when you are 64 years with a car you can be dead/diabled with a car, but two times with a bike. By the way = I got a busa and it is the biggest waist of money I ever ... But ok all other parts in my life are safe and well and I dont need to proof someone anything ... Dont be a small brain guy. Never be faster as your guardian angle. A medium bike is no toy and a bigger or a busa ... Some times a wish and a dream is better be a secret wish.
Dont listen to this NERD. Get a busa on finance, you can pay for the services by selling any protective gear. A sturdy pair of jandals go a long way and I nice tshirt will ensure you're always seen on the road.

My personal opinion = ABS can safe some money if you need it. And is good for your bones. Well my opinion. And the Gen 2 2013 got a ABS in my country. A lot of younger persons buy 1000 cc bikes. Less weight, easy in corners and some years earlyer with ABS. You/I/we only need one time the ABS to understand.
@Callis Handy The Gen-3 produces 190 hp at the crankshaft. After energy losses in the drive train, there is only 175hp delivered to the rear wheel. This is true in all countries. There is 15 horsepower that gets thrown in the garbage and has no use to you. Even more crazy about automobiles is if you added 100 gallons of fuel to your bike, only 20 gallons would go inti moving the bike forward. This means that for every $100 dollars you spend, $80 gets thrown in the garbage.
Because it was 1998 to 2001 unlimited. Later all bikes are by gentlemens agree speed limited. You/friend/garage can change these with a software and some hardware. Your country have unlimited speed ? And the motorway / Autobahn is in best condition ? You are (nearly) alone on the road ? No car will be suddenly in your lane ? Your break distance to reduce speed ? (speed and the square root) You know car driver can not calculate our distance and speed. Well ok, find youtube videos (I know one) where a bird is one foot beside the fairing at very very high speed. If a bird hit your head ... And yes I got a busa and sometimes I am fast.
Proud gen 2 owner
3rd gen is one of the most beautiful bikes ever

I LOVED my 2008 busa. A blast to ride!
So cool! Really nice the way you display/compare bikes with your graphics and statistics. Fun channel👍

@@callishandy8133 AMEN!!
You have your horsepower numbers backward. The Gen 3 produces 175 hp while Generation 1 produces 188hp.
In my country =
Gen 1 = 175 HP
Gen 3 = 190 HP @ 9700 rpm
(source a bike magazin)

Gen 3 produces 182 hp to the rear wheel
The Manufactures Certificate of origin for the gen-3 I own says 175 horsepower.
Before the hayabusa there was the gsxr 1100
See the swedish ghostrider with his Hayabusa turbo.
He used later a GSX-R 1000 turbo and not the busa turbo.
Please = find out why and write below ...
1.Gen
Raise it a little caster
Meet the busa killer Buell/EBR 1190RX ;-)
2nd gen best
The best is the 1st Generation because of less weight.
Ipak cu se zadrzati na prvoj generaciji, mozda i druga ali treca nikako
1 gen is good because it can go 350 top speed
Because it was 1998 to 2001 unlimited.
