Nice and simple boat, besides the getting up on deck problem, you could use the V-berth hatch and run up and down that way, but that solution would need a small ladder to be really effective.
It’s pretty simple to take down the spray hood so I’ll just do that I think. Thinking about building a hard dodger that only covers the middle section later :)
@@sailingfishcake Good plan. Something you can lock onto. I never went alone and we were mostly river rats anyway so it did not matter if one of us fell in! We were usually beers deep anyway and the water is nice in Cali. Happy sailing!

I had a 26 footer that had the same sketchy coach roof. Not cool under way.
