I was recently planning to upgrade my current GPU (680) and was looking at different video card combos to go with 3770k and stumbled upon this video. Really confused between RTX 2060 and GTX1080. Mainly as, I feel Ray Tracing on such old CPU might be a challenge and the difference between these two GPUs is minimal. How much of a bottleneck do you think will the 1080 cause? I mainly play CS2 and currently suffering horribly with Jitter (maybe coz of 8gig RAM, not sure). And along with the upgraded GPU, will plan to play some missed out games such as RDR2, God Of War etc. Please let me know your thoughts. Help much appreciated. Thanks

I have about 45-55 fps on DL2 with my i7 3770 using an ASUS OC strix 4GB 960 FSR quality & similar custom video setting as you👍 and to think I had enough funds to purchase a 5600x and a 3060 in case this game under performed

Oh cool, alas I upgraded to AMD 5700x whole new platform. From memory the I7 3770 will run hot in CBr23 I used a "stock cooler" although not intel Akasa AK-CC7108EP01 LGA 1155, I got 85, it should run 60-70 gaming - 100 is too hot! I had 6 case fans running at 1400 rpm and good airflow in a 4000D case. Perhaps try repasting you CPU, check the stock fan for dirt etc, plenty vids on YT. perhaps a new fan if its old. If you get a new cooler don't buy anything to fancy unless you can use it for future upgrades. I got the 4000D, an rx5600xt and a new psu for my I7 then used them in the AMD build a year later. @@54fps bro in this video u also have 8 gb ram and your game is running smoothly and even in csgo and valorant its stutter not that much but it does and in valorant my map everytime dont even load at time and last 1-2 sec my map loads and have to lock in ny agent very fast so that match dont dodge
@@54fps when i was building pc i accidentally dropped my hdd and when i used it it wasnt working so took hdd from my old laptop it was hikvision 512 gb 5200 rpm and i am using that rn. Is 5200 rpm is slow??
Idk, but I have a i5 3470 which is a little weaker, 16gb ram 1333 ( 3sticks are 1600 and 1 at 1333 mhz, after some extensive brenchmarks, I concluded that 1333 vs 1600 mhz difference in gaming is minimal, and of course gtx 1060 3gb. Warzone runs amazing in all modes, 100% stable fps without stuttering. However, I didn't tested it with others programs running like discord, but i can expect stuttering that way.
@@osmangoplani1205 God of war runs good, I don't have dying light 2 yet. And no, in my country an i7 3770 cost between 100 and 150$ so is not worth it, saving for an entire new platform ( mother/cpu / ram ) is probably better

The i7 is definitely better, not only is of a more recent Intel Gen, it also is an i7 that has 8 threads, while the i5 only 4 threads
