Once again, I congratulate your efforts in getting this video out. I also congratulate Innoson Motors (IVM) for manufacturing these vehicles and going forward. I read a comment on this platform saying that Toyota is still better. That person does not seem to understand that Toyota started making cars in 1937, Mercedes-Benz started in 1926, VW started in 1937 and Audi started in 1909 etc. When these various car manufacturers started, their cars were not as good as they are today. That person needs to understand that IVM needs to start from somewhere. They have done that and are moving forward. I'm hoping to own and drive an IVM one day. Thanks again for this heads up video.

That is an excellent point. However, Innososon will need to give tangible reasons why people should buy. This video is simply from a "fan" perspective with no objectivity to it. I get it though, we all want to see made in Nigeria vehicles

However, once third party reviews started reviewing some of their newer cars and giving them high reliability ratings, they started to use that to advertise. So essentially, Innososon will need an unbiased review from a third party that can tell us if they are reliable or not.

IVM have positioned themselves for these kind of reviews and criticism by going public. They were a major sponsor of BBnaija last season and some other schemes where many Nigerians have given excellent reviews about their products particularly in the area of fuel economy and general functionality which got me very interested in knowing more about the type of cars they manufacture.

ACFTA should be what makes African car producers big but we don't know what is happening so far... we have been waiting for this treaty to get under way so we can buy this IVM cars and bring them to Cameroon instead of buying from abroad where there is high cost of import being paid the the French company Bolloré who controls our ports.
They should get a better tour guide for the factory..
This is great well done. However, I noticed you keep mentioning the T*yo*a brand in the video. That will be a brand mistake. I'll recommend instead you use the term "Foreign vehicles". Demarket other brands in an effort to promote one is illegal (I think)

Here is the deal. It's hard to just say "it's tough and made for African roads". Well Toyota dominates Nigeria because of their high reliability track record. It's going to be hard to buy a 22M vehicle that has no track record. If they truly want to be successful, it would be great if they can get a 3rd party reviewer that is known globally. Get an honest, objective review of the vehicles. That will be a great step forward. We have to worry about will this start giving me issues in 2 years? And even if there are issues, what about parts for it? Kia and Hyundai still struggle and they have been around for decades. With that said, I really pray this company succeeds. If I had the money, for now I'd rather buy a Toyota, even if it means an older version
Innoson cars are cheap all because they are made in Nigeria and don't need to be shipped over . If you were to reside in USA you will.know that Toyota e.t.c are cheap

Nigeria is really blessed, but the bad gov't, but the hatred to the Igbo nation will not allow them to patronize the IVM company. Charles Soludo is using Innoson as his official car, the President has bought Innoson for both the Police, Military, FRSC, and even for Ministries. We should tell ourselves the truth. If Innoson motors is produced by an Hausa person, Nigerian government would have stopped importation of foreign cars and concentrate on buying home made. Ndi Igbo should stop buying foreign cars but the one manufactured by our own
