I don't know much about Nord Cars, but Innoson is doing a great job. However, Innoson needs to work on its quality. Two years ago, Moove purchased several Innoson cars for Uber in Lekki. The Victoria Island/Lekki axis was full of Innoson cars, but the quality was poor; the cheap plastic components gave up within six months. Today, most of those cars have disappeared from the roads, replaced by Suzuki cars. A couple of the drivers even told me that they had challenges with parts, which I found curious for a Nigerian brand. While we all want to drive made-in-Nigeria cars, Nigerians want durable vehicles that they can buy and keep for years.
@@ifeanyivictor5758 you certainly don’t live in Lagos. Anyone that lives here know this fact. There were hundreds of those cars in Lekki, VI and Ikoyi.

There's nothing wrong with "rebadged cars" as being done by IVM and Nord. As a matter of fact, that's the best way to go given our peculiarity as a country. Slowly but surely these companies can innovate overtime and grow their skills to the level of crafting their own unique engineering brands. China started by rebadging Volkswagen and using other people's IP to scale capacity. The Nigerian government should support these companies so they can run a sustainable business.
Hi everybody! Even in Italy carmakers were borned rebadging "made in china" cars from existing brands/models. And among several makes in the same group (one for all: Stellantis) some vehicles are named differently but are the same car (Peugeot 208, Opel Corsa, Lancia Y). You agree?
Please Innoson manufacture sedans for average Nigerians with affordable price, with fuel skyrocketing sedans are solutions for Nigerians especially commercial and government workers, the Brand would make name for itself in no time 👍
Please I want to know, what engines do NORD motors use? Their brands looks attractive and tempting but would really want to know more about their engine types

First learn to copy and then innovate
IVM is not rebadged but manufactured!
Nord has no manufacturing factory. The comparison is nonsense.
