In my lifetime I’ve never seen grocery prices go down. In best case scenario they stay the same. I owned a grocery store for more than 15 years before I retired. It only got worse. The big stores don’t want to lose their cash grab so they will do anything and everything to keep it the same prices or more. Their motto is everyone has to eat, so customers will pay anything.

With respect to food prices , I just paid 1.75 for one medium size potatoe! I bought an apple , singular last week price was 2.50 ..today 3.50 for the same size and apple. This is absolutely ridiculous.😮 My final bill after shopping 4 different stores, for the sales...I spent 100.00 more than I did last week. How is food prices going down??? This is from Ontario. 😢
