Great video. Very informative. I knew about Notre Dame's early interest in TV, but did not know about Penn. Today's image of Ivy league schools clouds people's view of how the Ivy league schools were once the definition of big time football. So it should not be a big surprise that Penn looked at TV as good for their football program. Finally what a surprise the NCAA being wrong on a legal issue. Who would have THUNK IT !
An interesting topic. The holy grail to us game collectors are very early nationally televised college football. I suggest my 57 Penn St/Syracuse, or my 61 basketball game Misssouri vs kansas I think. One interesting thing that did seemed to be allowed were rebroadcasts. There are a lot of cool day after early broadcast casts. Some where no more than acall of a pressbox film like the 52 Mich/MSU. Or fully TV broadcasts like the early 63 & 65 nebraska telecasts. Sorry if this feels like a commercial for my content just some good examples.
I wish broadcast networks would cover non power 5 schools a little more.
High quality.

Very informative. Had never known about this part of TV/sports history.
Another fantastic video. Once again, your time, effort, and research stands above all others.
