@@thecoinchanneltube you sir have started me into hording change, lol, i am new to this but found an interesting 1939 no mint nickel, it is missing the letter c in monticello. What should I do going foward to figure out if this coin is real?
Ever since I started collecting wheat pennies, moved on to other coins and bought a 1888 Indian penny that was printed over an 1887 penny! Now I look at EVERY coin I get!
@@LordofAssassins43 they are saying that the started by collecting wheat pennies, 1909-1958. Then bought an Indian head penny that has a double stamped date error, now they check all the change they get back. I check all my change I get back from cash purchases, you never know what you will get back. A couple weeks ago I got a 1892 Indian head penny back from the gas station. I also count cash registers as part of my job, it's awesome being able to search for coins while working and just exchange the coins I want to keep for face value. Got a 1951, 90% silver dime yesterday.
@@LordofAssassins43 an Indian head is the type of penny that was minted during that time. (Late 1800s) when he says on date is "over" another one, it means that the mint accidentally stamped one date over another date. Meaning you can see the older date under the newer date. These "error" coins are very valuable to collectors.
Dude, I live all the way out in Phoenix. I’ve been collecting coins for quite some time. Now I have watched all kinds of RUclips tick-tock videos on people doing coins and I think you’re amazing. I really do I can’t get enough. You do a great job being a live host keep it up.
I've been doing this so long my interest comes and goes but it's a huge mess . I know I have coins no one has from 1975 and 76 my Nonny bought me and my dad started me with the State quarters with teddy bears ..... I just want to sell . Coins in every room except my bathroom 😅🤑
@@lucynuzzello7154 I feel the same way and just comes and goes some days I could spend 2 to 3 hours looking at coins and then I can go weeks without looking at them again, but it takes that one that you find sparks it all again
My 9 year old son and I started coin roll hunting recently, and after this video, we found 2 of these errors yesterday on the KA and the nose. He was so excited.
It’s important to note that while there may be errors, they are worth what someone else is willing to pay for them with those errors. The more common die chip errors in circulation will ultimately dictate what others are willing to pay, and how much, via eBay, or other online selling avenues. Thanks for sharing. If you find an upside down peach on an older Georgia quarter, I’m interested in buying it from ANYONE!!

I have found a die crack starting on washiton eye on 2023 Kanaka Quarters as well as the die chipping on the reverse side of the coin. I have progression cracking on the Obverse of the coin as mentioned.
where do i sell my coins? they are only worth the money people are willing to buy them at. so, once i have my coins where do i sell them. this is a question for any coin not just these quarters. thank you in advance for your answers! :)
I have like 4 or 5 of the Edith strong die clash quarters. Been sitting on them because I thought they were the ones worth $50 - $60. Maybe I will sell them if they are going for over $100 if that's true
Bessie's planes wing is a chip. Looks like a die crack or defective planchet just above the chip too but you've identified that by now I'm sure. Great vids, always helpful & you don't need to share this info that can hurt your chances. Non-greedy people tend to share- thanks for that
Yes !! I have many with all kinds of die problems, color variations , and chips ect... I still have all of them because every single bit of change I've gotten since 1999 I have not spent. The first coins are from 1976 plus dollars , two dollar bills ect... It's a monster
There's a couple more spots on the reverse that you can find die chips. One is on her left nostril and the other is on top of the mountain under the word OF.
I love watching this guy he really cares about sharing his knowledge of coins i found a dime with smooth over sizes rim i ask 3 or 4 others live wouldn't say nothing about it if any one knows sure be thankful for a reply thank u very much 😅
Nice find on the Betsy Colman. & the Kanaka "A" die chip sounds common as well. the big chip on top of the airplane on the Betsy Colman is nice. I hope you are right on the $5 price tag for the errors but I'm afraid if you found 15-20 errors in a single sitting, I get the feeling that number is going to plummet. The Airlane chip should hold its value due to its size. Congratulations on the success of your channel. you're killing it!
Most P minted coins do not have a mint mark. I believe for the 2023 quarter, they deliberately minted some quarters with a "P" to create a collectors coin. So if you do find a Philadelphia minted Quarter with a "P', ... save it. Or it's worth money if you're into selling.
@@BeyondOurSolarSystem I mean my National Parks set. I have most of the early quarters. I have all the D mints I just need the p minted quarters. Been on the search for about a year and a half but my focus was on half dollars.

Its crazy that our kids/ grandchildren these days probably are clueless if our change is real or foreign ..growing up we all new what the sound basically looked like..now there are tools many versions of each denomination of change/ even the bills are different and unfortunately young children or younger generations may end up with fake or foreign money because of the extensive amount of various versions of every thing...they should have just left it like they were...its worse than the postage stamps varieties ! Where to take the money to collect for errors
We in So Cal don’t have access to P mint marks as you do. It is a challenge if find one.
eBay has Qtr rolls for sale. P-D&S..
