The discussion of copper "hoppers" - my dream is copper pipes. Simply connecting two inventories, the items don't exist in the space between - less for the game to calculate. Replacing water streams etc. I would want it to be SUPER simple! Regular hopper feeds into pipe, pipe connects to chest - however far apart. Pipes wouldn't filter or anything, not replacing that system, but multiple inputs could go to one output chest. Aesthetically I'd love a hopper connecting to a copper pipe to gain a copper sheen and connect smoothly... and of course the decorative potential of copper pipes would be huge! Create mod shows us how pretty they could be, but my vanilla wish would be far simpler than Create. Just take items from one inventory, and feed them into another.
JOEL!! Goodness....I have only been playing this game since last fall and this is the first I'm hearing of the ender Pearl spruce tree trick. Goodness I love that! Thank you! I learned something every week I listen to this podcast. You guys are awesome
ngl i also thought the empty chests were a bug, nice little tweak there, hopper and barrel concept. also loved the sounds minecraft video! was so good (no wonder i love the item plop sounds)
There's actually a copper hopper mod that adds filtering functionality so you don't have to set up all those bulky filters in your storage room. They balanced it by requiring regular hoppers in the recipe, so they're still more expensive than a typical iron hopper. Pretty cool.
Pix mentioned Red Sandstone being very scarce. What if we were able to craft it using red dye and sand. It wouldn’t help the sand problem however people may be more likely to use red sandstone.
I would love tree felling especially if its optional like an enchant that you can only find out in the wild. I don't think its really that much of fantasy breaker for floating stone VS a whole tree as we see floating islands naturally in the game and leans into the magical or fantasy. Husk now spawn in Trail Chambers
so weird i was trying to remember what this podcast was called and i never searched for it in any way, i was just thinking about it didn't mention it to anyone. and then suddenly on my recommended i'm one of the first to see this episode and it's also the 6th anniversary. sorry it's un mc related and a little crazy but i thought it should be noted lol.

Joel a wishing well would look really nice there, and wouldn’t be high enough to obscure anything behind
