I was just going to pick up a straightener but I thought what a pain to dry my hair first I don't have all this time.... and then I saw your video... well.. looks like I will be getting this!! thanks so much!
@@sophialarkin they claim it’s less damage than drying and straightening. I’m guessing it was an in laboratory test assessing damage after a single use.
It came out so beautiful! I use to love this on my curly hair but it totally fried later on. Then again, I wasn’t be careful. Like no heat protectant or hair care regimen back then 😐.
Awe thank you!! If I’m being honest, I don’t use it more than once in like 3 months because I have wondered if repeated use would cause damage. That sucks it does because it’s so awesome & easy!!
I love this !!!!! I only use this for straightening my hair. The key for me is to air dry 50% and THEN to still apply thermal products.... I used it to do these waves in my profile pic... I just wish that would make a curling iron version
I been using this same flat iron for years I used to buy the name brand expensive ones and they wouldn’t have the same results after heavy use. This particular flat iron though that I’ve had For years I still get the same outcome of flawless silky hair
My friend had one when she was in high school. When she went to college she threw it away. I always wanted to try one but never have. My mom today was cleaning out her bathroom and found one similar to yours and asked me to please go throw it away. I asked if it works she said I Don’t Know who’s it is or how I got it. But I don’t think I have ever used it. You can have it or throw it away. So I decided to keep it to try it out.
Hey, loved this video. Can you pls share, is it easy to position the vent away from the roots and still get them?? Did you manage to finally not burn yr scalp and still straighten hair from the roots?? I am intrigued to know this before i buy it 😊. Thanks!
If you position it correctly before you do a pass (the vents away from you) then yes it’s possible! You can’t get as close as a normal straightener though, so I touch up my roots with a normal straightener because I prefer smooth roots too!
Wow!...fantastic!...after I saw your video I went to Amazon and I buy the product. I can't wait to try it on my hair. Your hair looks amazing!. Thank you for sharing.
I've had mine (older model straightener) since 9th/10th grade back in 08'/09' ish and it still works fine. I just don't straighten my hair much now, literally used to straighten my hair everyday back when I was in school.
Awe thank you! 💗 My hair isn’t this color anymore, but I used to dye it with Age Beautiful permanent crème dye from Sally’s in the shade 6RR or 5RR! With a level 20 developer. ☺️
My hair is naturally curly girl & it was super long!! It does not take just ten minutes to get bone straight 🤣 LOL So for me, this was extremely easy having to skip the blow dry step all together!
I’m shocked and delighted to find someone using this completely UNIRONICALLY 20 years later! 😊

Don’t fall for it like a lot of us did back in 2007 😭 it fried my hair in the long run
YES! I fell for it with a Chi iron years ago. The hair looks amazing till it breaks off, lol.
How can they claim it doesn’t damage hair?

I had one😂
Back in 2007 I wasn’t using heat protection like I do now! Maybe it would’ve come out ok if I did 🤷♀️🤔

I hope you like it! :)
I've never used one of these before. My only question is, isn't it like boiling your hair if your hair is still wet or damp?
No! There’s steam vents on it that release all of the steam from your hair so it doesn’t burn it. 🙂 But I would still use a heat protectant!

6:54 A TIP: make the steam vents face away from your head that you it won't burn yourself.
You look amazing with new hair😘😘😘 thank you for reviewing the product, I'll buy now😂
Have a good day ✨🌹✨
I USE THIS ONE AS A STRAIGHTENER I didn’t know it was this but I will not use it on wet hair😮
Lol well at least you know it’s helping reduce heat with the vents 🤣
What color is your hair........so pretty. On u

My mom has had the strainer for 20 years xD
It’s the fact your saying it’s “such a pain” to do your hair but it’s so thin. You can EASILY blow dry that bone straight in 10 min
