I love this movie...and it has a great soundtrack. This came out at the end of my junior year in high school...lots of positive energy when I saw it in the theater and I've nabbed it on the various home video platforms. For whatever reason it has not been released on blu-ray yet. Come on...someone get it done already! :(
the quest to make the greatest movie of all time is ultimately pointless, because the greatest film of all time, Encino Man with Pauly Shore, has already been made.
This is an incredible film and an amazing performance. I think he was only 23 at the time. Youth has it's beauty, but age has a charm all of it's own. He was adorable in this but he had more sex appeal in the mummy just a couple of years ago. If you hate him it may because women love him, and you should see some of his other 40 odd films. He is incredibly talented.
Someone please clear this up for me: Mike Muir was the frontman for both Infectious Grooves and Suicidal Tendencies. Since the latter band was the one he was most famous for, was Infectious Grooves meant as a side project, or was it formed during a break in Suicidal Tendencies' touring schedule?
Read that Sean and Branden didn't want to do the movie because they both thought it was crap, and didn't even know who Shore was. Sean saw his stand up, and thought he was stupid.
did anyone else notive Robert Trujilo (Metallica's newest bass player) ? you can actually see him on the stage at a few different points. major fuckin points for him bein in a classic comedy like this! =)

i love california man !
Was it really necessary to tag it through the whole video?
Everyday i always hear this music... hehhee :)
Remind me the apparition of The Red Hot Chili Peppers on the skate movie "THRASHIN" performing the crazy Punk-Funk song "Blackeyed Blonde".
It is similar from Rush! Yes.
Muy Bueno.
Best part is when they stick their head under the slurpee machine.

sounds like yyz by rush at the start :/
Infectious Grooves = Suicidal Tendencies??
Cool song though^^
No, the name was actually Infectious Grooves. Cant remember if ST was the band, but I remember Muir was the singer.
