Yes, you're right! I personally put Infectious Grooves among the greatest so called "alternative rock / alternative metal" groups of all times. Right after my 'big personal five'... meaning FISHBONE, (Patton/Martin -era) FAITH NO MORE, JANE'S ADDICTION, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and LIVING COLOUR. Red Hot Chili Peppers was also my favorites with their production inbetween 1988-1995.
I never can get why the chili peppers are so popular these days, I loved blood sugar sex magic but there stuff now is unlistenable, but so many like it.

Saw them at the Anaconda in Isla Vista, CA by UCSB and to this day it remains one of the top 5 concerts I've ever seen. 300 people and the band absolutely blew the roof off.
It's just excellent. New and old in the same time. Pure composition, pure crazyness, pure music. I wish to see you in Europa, let me dream in Paris. I have your name, I'm fan :)
For years in Guelph ,Ontario my friends called me Ozzy. They eagerly brought me to a tv where I could watch this new video. They were so eager to have me watch it. I enjoyed it and they laughed along. Good times.
The plague that makes your Booty move. And Lights, Camera, Revolution were a couple of the best albums that showcased how ultra-talented these boys are.
Funk and metal normally don't mix but infectious groove somehow made it work. I was also very afraid that I would like this and will be listening to this for the rest of my life, turns out I was correct
Bought the album when it was first released (on cassette tape!). After wearing out several tapes, and several CDs, I'm now working on wearing out several iPods. And it's STILL one of my Top 5 favorite albums.
I'm here cuz I had this album when it was new, and have been a fan Suicidal since I was about 11(so like 1984-85). Rob is the most talented member of Metallica, and probably always will be from this point forward.
I can't believe I'm just now realizing that was actually Ozzy in this song, even for just ONE frickin' word. I'd been listening to these guys for over 20 years and this blows my mind.
Mylanta I haven't heard Infectious Grooves since Junior High around '91 or 2 and had completely forgotten that they did a song with Ozzy. This is fantastic, I am definitely digging out their records this evening.
ÁUß Code Ozzy asked rob trujillo and psycho myko when they were recording this song. So you guys got cocaine? Nope. Pills? Nope. Booze? Nope, Sorry ozzy no drugs. He still offered his vocal talent for the song, and befriended Rob though.
Ozzy says one word throughout the whole song and it's still awesome
All he neefs to sau
Uts realuy the higjlisht offnthe song
😂
@@zxnecat damn we found ozzy
Ozzy could sneeze on a song and I'd listen to it. Lol!
Ozzy screaming "THERAPY!" throughout the video is akin to the old man yelling "SCIENCE!" in She Blinded Me With Science
@Doyle Hargrave
Thomas Dolby
You are the best
And he looks like hes having a hell of a time...
It's still pretty cool
Professor Magnus Pyke!
This is the most 90's thing I've ever seen.
I love it
Yep, my sweaties, I indeed rocked it back then!!!

That's awesome Schnepp, keep it BRUTAL!

You are awesome! That's all I will say Schnepp!

I've had this CD since 1991, and now my 14 year old won't stop playing it.
As he should.
ok boomer
I have the cassette tape. Hopefully Amazon has the C.D.
Is your 25 year old still playing it? Do you still have the CD?
@@Dr.SamLoomis you mean xennial
I don't understand how great bands like I.G. and Mr.Bungle did not blow up like they should and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers did?
There's such thing as marketable rebellion

This had to been the coolest thing Ozzy has done since the bat.
Ever hear the Rap song he did with Was not Was? "Shake Yer Head" yeah Ozzy Rapping. To Devo type music.
pepa

I fucking totally agree
The bass play makes that band sound so good
Thank Rob for that
I don't blame Robert for making his Metallica millions, but it's sad so many kinds today will never know just how incredible of a bass player he is.
@@alexwest4253 Straight up facts
Of course, it's Roberto Trujillo!
@@alexwest4253 I agree. Metallica is so boring! He is way better!
The Bass in this song is so Groovy-
Too bad it isn't loud enough, for the most part.
Robert Trujillo......
God I hope rob will do some of his funky stuff on the next Metallica album
@@antoniocarlin5026 in his natural habitat!!
I like the part where Ozzy only screams therapy on occasion
That part is sick

-any cocaine?
no ozzy sorry

HAHA!!! Brilliant :) And i love Trujilo's Ozzy accent :)

thanks... that made me laugh ;) who needs therapy when you could have all that ;)
That story is classic!! I hate seeing Rob Trujilo's talent wasted in Metallica... Please get out ROB!!!! NOW!!!!

Agreed. Nowadays it's like, "Stand in front of this LED light show and perform your song." 😴
RIP Jon Schnepp. A man of many talents and an exceptionally sweaty nerd. You will be missed.
Is that Schnepp in the video as the doc??
@@fatandsassy1510 Yes. His very first credit in music videos.
@@Woodsballer209 Thanks, I met Schnepp at working at Titmouse. Real cool guy. At the time he told me how they were gonna take on Venture Bros
Saw them at the Anaconda in Isla Vista, CA by UCSB and to this day it remains one of the top 5 concerts I've ever seen. 300 people and the band absolutely blew the roof off.
Apparently Ozzy had trouble remembering the lyrics to his part.
Because he had just tried to bite a women's boots off
It was impromptu. He walked into the studio and asked to record it.
Ben Hostetter You missed the joke lol
Ozzy Osbourne will always be cool
He even had the lyrics written on a big poster board.
It's been a while since I've listened to this... As a bass player I can definitely ear Jaco- Robert is such an awesome bass player!!
It's just excellent.

...and everyone clapped..
Ozzy came right off the set from his No More Tears video apparently, has the same look & clothes on as that video of his. Both came out in 1991
man, i just was looking at some old CDs I have and lookie here. The You Tube never disappoints. Such a rocking group.
RIP Schnepp, the king of sweeties. We will miss you very much man. 🤟🏽
RHCP + Anthrax + Primus + Faith No More = Infectious Grooves :)
90s were the best! For rock and metal and grunge!
Yes
fuckin awesome stuff , I grew up listening to infectious grooves , suicidal tendencies , slayers etc , brings backs great memories
slayer not slayers lol damn predictive text grrrr
Rob was such a heavy handed monster of a bass player even back then!
The madness of Jon Schnepp is beautiful to watch.
The plague that makes your Booty move. And Lights, Camera, Revolution were a couple of the best albums that showcased how ultra-talented these boys are.

Yeah, it might be a mortgage payment for Rob. He outclasses Metallica in Rock, funk, whatever.
I watched Ozzy break his foot on stage in Chicago the day before they filmed this. Good show with Infectious Grooves opening for Ozz!
R.I.P the KING of SWEATIES. :(
Some of the bet Snowboardin music out there at the time!!! Hell Yeah!!

What a cool line up.
Good lord. I've been searching this song for eons. Saw it in MTV waay back then 😅
AMC brought me here! haha way to go Schnepp!!
I love this damn song
Big Sweaty Shnepp
This is exactly the kind of music video I'd expect Schnepp to be in.
One can clearly see the huge influence Jaco Pastorius has on Trujillo's bass lines. He got the same jaco's nasal bass tone on this song.
Mr. Schnepp told me to check this out today. I was not disappointed. :-)
Big sweaty Schnepp!
