It's because people try to sue developers for inducing anxiety attacks and other medical issues. It's industry standard to go those with heart conditions, certain mental illnesses, and/or pregnant shouldn't play mostly to avoid lawsuits.

I live in an apartment with my mom- there's only one bedroom and I slept in there with her for most of my life until we decided with my dad to get something fixed- we didn't use the dining room area at all do we used that room and made it my bedroom- it doesn't have door and is a large doorway, I got curtains for it at least.
For the people confused at what's going on at 19:50 The list on the wall is the exact same one you make, to record what you need to do, when to sleep, etc. But the one on the wall has more bullet points than yours does at that point in time. It's like you're looking at the list on the wall and it already has events that will happen to you in the future. SPOILERS But since the protagonist is already dead when you start the game, it makes sense. And the game is trying to tell you this when you find that list on the wall. All of this already happened and you're stuck in a loop.

My door was broken and lacking a doorknob until a few months ago.
I live in an apartment with my mom- there's only one bedroom and I slept in there with her for most of my life until we decided with my dad to get something fixed- we didn't use the dining room area at all do we used that room and made it my bedroom- it doesn't have door and is a large doorway, I got curtains for it at least.

But since the protagonist is already dead when you start the game, it makes sense. And the game is trying to tell you this when you find that list on the wall.
All of this already happened and you're stuck in a loop.

Same here. My cat loves to cuddle up with either me, my mum and dad or my sister at night. Sometimes she'll switch between my sister and my parents. I love my cat to bits but she's the kind of cat that snuggles up right up against you and I like my space when I sleep so I keep my door shut. The only time I'll ever leave it open at night is when my sister is house-sitting or on a trip overseas so the cat won't scratch and meow at my door.
