The biggest benefit other than the fit is how easily you can speak with this one. You don't feel suffocated as well. Very nice trick, I would say.

I do this and the mask I use is also antimicrobial . I have a small face so learning this has been crucial . Triomed brand mask (candian made antimicrobial level 3 surgical mask is what I use)

I tried this with standard surgical masks but sadly my head must be too big, it didn’t work for me. My ears were scrunched all the way forward and the elastics popped off too easily.

Blue side or green in this case always goes to the front or out. White is the one that goes on our nose and mouth :)
