I got mine a few days ago, Ive put 2 packs through it and it is by FAR the best Arrma ever made for sure! I threw a Tekno M5 Hardened Steel 14-Tooth Pinion gear on it as well as 300,000 CST Center diff fluid tuned the ESC with proper programming. I also picked up an 18-Tooth pinion for speed running. I think 14-Teeth is the best overall gearing for the stock motor - as you saw its very fast out of the box and really the factory 13-tooth is more than enough, but I felt the slight increase in wheel speed with the 14-tooth makes it spot-on and a blast to drive.

I saw the intro and it flip and slide on the roof on that beautiful body even though there will be many tumbles and scratches cause it’s a Basher that first one always hurt can’t wait to see this super speed Saturday happy holidays jt

Everything about this is impressive. The upgrade parts, the design updates addressing gripes on prior versions, the speed on the out-of-the-box "basher" gearing. ARRMA was smart to crack these open before shipping them out to update the firmware so it doesn't get the stained by the ESC issue seen in the Big Rock release. Reviews for this beast should be pretty clean for the most part...except for perhaps the inevitable landing on the wheel in the worst possible way to break a driveshaft...or something along those lines! Does not look like they would be leaving me much left to upgrade...other than perhaps the A/B/C/D suspension blocks and I would probably do aluminum rear hub carriers. Perhaps I would also still do the servo at some point but the stock one doesn't seem too shabby.
Not sure if you were able to fix the issue with the truck cutting out or not. Despite performing the update properly both of mine are still cutting out. I can't imagine I am the only one with this issue. Especially since two new vechiles are doing the same damn thing and it is maddening. Should have saved money and gotten the Kagama which has a significantly better esc and motor to begin with. The scale body of the Big Rock lured me in but probably could have fous something after-market that would have more than done the job.

That is the best way to build a car. Listen to the people that upgrade them listen to to the people that run them to the limits. And then use that to better your product simple as that arm does it track system does not and I have many arms and many Traxxas and it’s just the way I feel.

I believe that Kraton might be my next truth, I just got my 1st rc and it's a Infraction 6s,but I haven't got a chance to run it because being a newbie I brought the wrong 3s smart batteries and got the ones for an airplane or helicopter, now I can't send them back because that's Horizons policy so I have to wait for some more money to get the right ones 😂

I think that's the same controller i got with the SCX6. I like the battery level display with the spectrum batteries.
I don't own a arrma but this truck is amazing the design the detailing with the anodizing reminds me of a expensive watch ...wow

How does this Kraton 6s exb v2 rtr compare to the Kraton 8s exb v2?
the 8s is much larger (1/5 vs 1/8 scale) but it looks very nice as well, it got a better servo too
