Edit because apparently some people can't just enjoy a one-minute kitten video these days:
-Yes, I know he's not feral. That is incredibly clear, you don't need to tell me he's not actually feral, I live with him. Believe me, I know. I am not saying it's a feral cat. The title is a joke referring to his wild, unruly behavior. That should be relatively obvious.
-No, he is not being aggressive. He is a three-month old kitten whom I am still teaching out of certain behaviours such as hand biting. He is not biting down.
-No, he is not overstimulated due to being stroked. He thought my hand was a toy, because he was just playing moments prior, and was still in an "everything is a toy" mindset.
-Yes, I know this is behaviour that can get out of control if allowed to continue as he gets older. No, I do not encourage him to do this. He mainly plays with his toys. I will usually redirect him to a toy or remove him from my lap if he bites. He is doing it in this video because I was literally just trying to show my friends what a gremlin he was being at the time and Discord was being a pain in the rear end.
-No, I am not a novice cat owner. I do not claim to be an expert in the slightest but I have been around cats for all but one of my twenty years alive. I do know a fair few things about their behaviour. I do not need your coaching or advice. I live with the kitten and know how I teach him and what I allow outside this video. You do not.
-This is a not-even-two-minute video of my kitten being hyperactive. Not an indicative of what I allow him to do or not do or what his personality is like.

You don't want to teach your cat to see hands as playthings/toys. Because when cats play, they use teeth and claws. That will encourage them to bite and scratch, attack you from under things, etc. Always use real cat toys to play with them, whether a long wand toy, throwing balls/soft items, using a laser toy, etc.

Exactly. Make sure they learn that your hands are off-limits, and give a cry of pain and pull away if they try to bite or scratch you. They have to be taught that your hands are only for giving them pets and treats, not something to claw, bite or kick.

The cat isn’t actually biting. It’s love bites which is a type of affection and isn’t violent at all and cats do it all the time to humans and other cats when they’re playing

My henry used his teeth in all ways. I never wanted To change that behavior and him. It was how he communicated. And yes he bit me a lot of times. Never Once did I raise my voice to him Or my hand. I always wanted all of him to be coming through and never wanted to change his behavior in any way. You just gotta be quick if you don't want to get bit. This cat is a beauty ,lucky you

@@danlawson3986 it's not wrong for a cat to learn "don't bite or scratch humans". But since you think so, I guess you never let your cat around a child or it would get hurt because the cat thinks it's ok to bite and scratch.

@@w1975b yes that is a concern. Odd thing about henry is he wood only bite me and my wife, and never in anger. And not always. He was the love of my life and i wouldent change a thing if i had a do over. Every parent does what they think is best.

Yes, obviously. It's a joke because he was acting wild and hyper at the time. Thus, "feral," or wild behavior. I suppose I'll go adjust the title, then.
