I LOVE this block, looks hard but you explained it so well. I am getting my 7/8" ruler tomorrow in the mail, so everything you have suggested for me has helped me tremendously with measuring for cutting and getting blocks together and they have turned out almost perfectly. You are a truly fantastic teacher😀, thank you.
I love this block and as promised it was actually way easier then I thought. However I always need “oversized” measurements so I can trim up. If anyone else is like me add 1/4 or .25 to all the measurements. You will have to do a little trimming before adding the C/D pieces. Hope this helps😊
I can't remember ever seeing this block. I will have to make it today. The fabric used is beautiful, I will do a red white blue version from my scrap bin. Any way to show and tell? Thanks
I have a Juki TL-2000Qi. It is a straight stitch only, forward and back, knee lift and thread cutter. Love, love, love it! Here is information on it - shrsl.com/41oo3 Thanks for watching.
Love the block. But how can I adjust it to a 12 1/2” block so that when sewing blocks together I won’t lose the ‘point’? Or is it 12” finished and 12 1/2” already. Hard to see.
I've seen it called Super Card Trick and also Spinning Color Wheel. Wings of Eagles is what I saw first and the most times so I went with that. Most seem to be related to Bible blocks. Thanks for watching.
Wow! Love this, no strip piecing, no angle cutting on strip's. So easy and wow. Tfs, hugs, Chel 🌸
You are the master of good instructions. Cool block! Don’t think I would have tried this without your tutorial.
You’re right! It does look hard but it’s so pretty!!
Thanks for doing all the math and figuring to make this so doable for us. I appreciate it. It's a terrific block.
Fascinating block, I’ll be doing it up today for sure. New to me and can’t wait to try it. Thanks Carol for sharing. 👍❤️😊

Wonderful! Looking forward to trying this block.
I've seen this one be called the Super Card Trick block, I wonder where the "Wings of Eagles" name comes from.
