Skaventide Painting Tutorial: All New Stormcast Eternals Prosecutors for Age of Sigmar

Ok guys, here we go! Thanks to @officialwarhammer I got a creator copy of Skaventide to make tutorials for you guys and it's time for some Stormcast Prosecutors! These guys have gotten a serious glow up from the old clunkier style, making them seem a lot faster and sleeker for flying around the tabletop! This is a really simple painting tutorial that will get your Stormcast flyboys painted in about an hour's brush time! It also shows you exactly where to swop in your own colours for any chamber you like!

AK Terrain Dark Earth texture paste
Ryza Rust (dry) brush
Screaming Skull (layer) dry brush
Add tufts as desired!

They are stunning sculpts, I don’t think we were expecting anything less from sigmar minis at this point, I’m quite interested in seeing the storm cast with the giant axe, as I’m really liking the mini. Great video as always Andy keep up the good work.

Great video and love the paint job. A bit of feedback on the camera, with these kinds of models, perhaps using a wider depth of field and manually setting the focus would work best?

Could you do a video for the stormcasts and skaven like you did with the Tyranids when 10th edition first came out showing a nice handful of different schemes to choose from and how to paint them? I found those videos incredibly helpful for helping me to pick and paint my army!
It’s for sure an idea. It all depends on what people are enjoying.
Definitely a great tip for beginners: Spray your model black BEFORE spraying it with retributor armour! If you want a good solid basecoat of gold
Yeah metallic sprays just don’t stick great to grey plastic!

Another lovely video, always good how you show the full process in easy steps. Some channels jump too far ahead I find. Do you always go for black rims or sometimes modify them for an army?
Yeah I hate following along with tutorials when they miss major steps! I always go for black rims, your eye doesn't really see it and I think it just seems cleaner.
i would say add briar queen chill on the wings and then dry brush with while to make it look ethereal but the paintjob still look beautiful.

Video on the Gryph Stalker will be out today, not sure yet about doing the Lord himself! Will have a look at reclusians and see if I have room for a video on them!
For a more wallet friendly option give colour forge gold spray a try. Just as good as GW but a more reasonable cost
Oh great tip! I haven't tried any of the metallic colour forge ones yet but I like their basic colour primers!

I`m getting slowly into hobby and really like your tutorials, do you recommend to start with citadel paints or like AP or Vallejo or Duncan ones? having citadel will be easy to follow your turtorials but do they as good as other mention earlier?
I do tutorials using citadel because it’s what most people start with. I do have tutorials using Duncan’s paints as well. For me I’d recommend starting with something like citadel and once you get the hang of what you’re doing and where you want to improve, then you can look into upgrading your paint. I think a beginner would get more out of citadel and then upgrading than trying to learn with something like Vallejo.

The Skavenblight Dinge - that looks quite wet and good coverage, are you applying a really heavy coat or is it thinned?
I use a wet palette!
