    This was driving me crazy. I used silicone to fix the squeaking window as it went up and down, and accidentally fixed the wind noise, too! I was going to post the tip, but you already did. Thanks!

    Thanks for this. I'm gonna try it out. The issue is defintely the seal between the glass panel and the rubber seal because I would get various levels of wind noise when I would lower and raise the window back up. I heard about Tesla Roadside Technicians coming and doing exactly what you did.

    Thanks brother. This definitely helped with the wind noise on my model 3. I could easily tell the difference. Of course there's road noise but your solution helped with the wind noise which was more annoying. Thanks!!

      Road noise has a lot to do with your tires. But since these vehicles are very quiet you’ll naturally notice another noise when you tackle one annoyance. But overall your vehicle will be quieter.

    Gonna try it man, gonna try it. I know I have some silicone lubricant spray in the garage, I wonder if that is the same thing. I’m going to give it a whirl

    Thanks so much for the tip.
    I used a bottle of bicycle all purpose cleaner (Pedro's) and it worked great.
    In fact it is probably the best single result yet. AND it made the parts shine.
    Worked great on the plastic in the frunk.
    No squeaks at all in chassis movement.

    Depending on when you purchase the price can be anywhere from $8-$20. A super simple and cheap fix for tesla window wind noise.

    Interesting that this would work! I ordered a different brand Silicone Lubricant because it will arrive today. It should work the same. Will report back if it takes care of the problem

    • @electrikrich
      @electrikrich  Год назад +1

      Make sure you apply it a few times. I applied it then drove then applied again. What it does is helps create a better seal. Might not work for everyone but it definitely worked for me. Thankfully! Appreciate the comment and support

    • @FreddyB_

      Didn’t really do much for me. I got the exact product and have tried to apply multiple times. Hopefully it will help others

      @@FreddyB_ oh that’s a bummer. Is it wind noise from the window you are having a problem with or is it road noise?

    • @FreddyB_
      @FreddyB_ Год назад +1

      @@electrikrich Definitely wind noise from a particular window. It seems to be silenced if I’m driving and ever-so-slightly lower the window, but that is not a permanent fix…

    • @electrikrich
      @electrikrich  Год назад +5

      You might have a more severe case. They do sell kits that basically fill the gap with foam do that it presses the rubber more on to the window. Sorry that it didn’t help you. Sucks having a expensive car and dealing with these ridiculous issues.
