  • Tom Brier plays his new composition, "Low Down Mama," at the Ragtime Current concert at the West Coast Ragtime Festival. The Max Morath-curated concert featured all sorts of contemporary ragtime from honky-tonk to stride to Terra Verde. Tom's piece could be a recently discovered Columbia piano roll by Jimmy Blythe.
