That's not related, the images were just examples. The NPC is actually for education edition and bedrock has an ability to turn some features of it on, so the files are in the game which is why you can summon it

I remember in 1.3, an alpha version, where you could do any function with an anvil. And villagers had the AI of pigs. And that tutorial Palace which had enough iron blocks to get the On A Rail achievement. You couldn't place half slabs on the upper half of a block. The lava looked like cheese.you couldn't trade with villagers
And I'm pretty darn sure no temple or monument existed. The dessert temple did.
