I got a 2013 charger with 40k miles for $13,000 and I love it, I’ve put close to 1000$ of mods into it and it’s super easy and fun to mod thanks to mopar! There great cars!

I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and it’s just been nice to drive, you get a lot of compliments too on the look and sound and I’ve had younger kids in my neighborhood ask me to rev it for them lol

I just bought a 2010 Dodge charger with 72,000 mi for $2,700. The only reason why she sold it for this price is because there's a small little rip in the BACK SEAT and a small dent on the hood. Girl, I don't give a fuck! It's almost a new charger ... I'll take it. 😂
I have a 06 5.7L hemi R/T. My buddy let me drive his 3.5L v6 and honestly.. I didn't like it. Once you get a hemi, downgrading would make you feel shitty lol. Beautiful cars though.

I got a 2007 R/T as my first car and I still have it and it still runs great! I'm 31 years old now, I've had it through my 20's ( awesome experience ) and I plan on keeping it for a very long time. ( i hope to be a 70 year old grandfather and say i still have my first car lol ) i'm from Montreal but i don't drive it in the winter. It helps keeping the body from rusting. It also helps on yearly gas consumption / insurance since i only drive it 6 months out of the year. Amazing first car and like you i would so do it again!

You could always add a police pack if you wanted. These cars hold their value I paid 10k for my 07 R/t that had 93k miles... 6 years ago!
I’m going to look at a 2016 Dodge Charger SXT this weekend. I’ve been driving a 2008 Corolla for 9 years and I love it (most reliable cars in my opinion). But for some reason I’ve been having this urge to buy a Dodge Charger. 30k miles and $22k... not too bad. This video helped sway me so we shall see!!!
It really is a good car all around for anyone (based on my ownership experience). I bought my (torred) 2007 R/T 5.7 hemi with approximately 11k miles in early 2008. I still have the car in 2019! Body and paint have held up well, with only a small amount of rust visible (about the size of a quarter) at the bottom of the wheel well. This car now has approximately 113k miles on it (original engine and trans). Speaking of original items; the alternator, radiator, water pump, all hoses, all lights (with the exception of rear bulbs on one side) and the injectors all have 113k miles on them. Even the spark plugs are original! The only thing I have had to get fixed was the AC blower motor, ball joints (two occasions on that repair), brakes, and recently the emissions related equipment converter, O2 sensors. Oh, and the original battery died in the summer of 2018. A 10-year battery? Never had that experience before. I have owned any number of GM's and a Ford and they all had issues within 2 to 4 years of daily driving. This charger on the other hand? WOW! They definitely built this car with longevity in mind. I would buy another Dodge again! Hopefully 485hp hemi next time. Hellcat at $70,000 is a bit more than I want to spend on a car. No leaks either.
The only thing that's dissapointed me in the over all charger is it doesn't come in a manual. I'm still getting one, but I feel Dodge could reach more of a market with that option

My first car was a 2008 Dodge Charger super bee srt8 and ngl all that power was a lot to get used to. My ego definitely was way to high and it took me awhile to realize ya my car is fast and awesome and that I don’t need to race everyone to prove it lol. It’s at 142,000 miles and is still going strong. I plan on taking it to college and hope I never have to say goodbye to it. It’s also been an amazing project for me and my dad to work on improving.

gonna be honest only thing that had me hooked was the hemi because I've been looking at 350zs and mustangs but this car seems like a great deal given the practicality and power compared to the other two and its a lot cheaper
wasn't my first car , was actually a hands down all ford or nothing guy for the longest but after my wreck looking for a good any reliable car was hard in my area till I decided lets look into some dodges and my first drive in a charger I fell in love sense I'm a taller guy it was roomy enough I didn't feel crushed, like the video says some small fixes had to be done granted its a 06 with over 250k miles has been one of my bests and would happily recommend anyone starting out to get one.

Semi-related story: I'm just about to purchase myself a 2010 Charger R/T with the 5.7L Hemi (July 2018). And let me tell you, I am SO fucking excited for it. However this will be my second car. My first was a 2003 Silverado with the 5.3L V8. While the Charger is a decent starter car, in my opinion I was a 10x better driver due to me having a Silverado first. Since it was so big I learned how to park in tight spaces and be generally cautious about size. Since it was a pig on gas, I learned to drive smooth to save on fuel. It's powerful but slow to accelerate, so you can't get into as much trouble and won't get as many tickets. You learned power control as well, cause it had near 300hp going to one rear tire on a light back end (eventually the diff would lock but not before some squealing hehe). So when I went to drive the Charger with the 5.7 Hemi, I never felt like it was an unmanageable beast. I never chirped the tires or ever felt like I gave it too much gas. I wasn't worried about it's size for a sedan either. And finally, having a pickup first will also teach you the most important lesson of all... Never underestimate how fun a car (or truck) can be, no matter what it is. You'd be surprised how well a 2003 Silverado handles if you have the balls to try! I am still giddy at the thought of me having a V8 Charger, but I still kinda miss my truck.
I don't have a charger but I can pretty much relate... 18 years old and I own a 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT with the 3.5, it's a boat, no doubt, but it still is a little speedy, I purchased her with 52K miles for about $6,100 and insurance is about $110 per month. I love the magnum, lots of space, rides nice, and decent power. I do kind of hate the gas mileage though, I get about 14 MPG. None the less, like I said, its fun, reliable, and its a great car!

Just got a ‘14 black charger r/t back in October-first car. 3 months later still love it as much as when I was first surprised by it. Only complaint I have so far is gas. I don’t drive highway much, I live in a small town so 90 percent of my miles are city.
I have a Charger 2007 RT 5.7, bought it in 2010, I still have it and is my daily use car, engine and transmission still works like new, it has some details due the daily use, I probably have spent around 5 or 7k in the last 5 years in repairs and maintenance, most of the repairs where (sensors,shocks and front complete, A/C) and only a leaking problem solved with seals replacement, It's a great car, right now I'm thinking in buying a Challenger just for weekends car and keep the Charger for daily use, due it stills run smooth.

first car, 1985 Cadillac sedan deville...V8! miss that car! I'm 33yrs old now and I just got my first '10 dodge charger V6 3.5! love it! I live in Kuwait and I do notice that it burns coolant fast, especially during the 50 celcius summers so I do have to keep an eye on the coolant level and I use a desert type coolant which is pink color. The A.C. keeps up very nicely but either way its too dam hot in this country!! the dodge charger is a very popular car in Kuwait so parts are cheap its just trying to find a good shop to install them, the dealerships charge way way too much!! the insurance I have is $70 for the whole year, lol yes I said for the whole year, Kuwait has a lot of good things!! I am slowly looking for MODS so this channel is very helpful and I'm also looking to educate myself as well. So far I have had to replace the radiator, alternator, engine O-rings, timing belt, water pump and some small things here and there with the pulleys and re did the suspension...the Kuwaiti that had this car before me didn't take care of it but I got it for $2900 USD and I put approx. $3000 USD into it so overall $6000 isn't too bad with 230,000km. I am very happy and it all runs great now!
gas is really cheap for me living in the middle east lol I pay for approx. 65lt 6 KWD (Kuwait dinar) which is under $20 USD lol for a full tank! I also commute to work so the high way miles are very very good!! I consume more gas on my day off driving around here and there and I get approx. 460-500km per week if I'm just commuting to work...and not going anywhere after work.
First vehicle is an 01 ram, still runs like a dream but needs some work done to it and after driving it for over a year I want to downsize for a daily driver, honestly looking for a charger with this body style I just absolutely love it for some reason, guess it just looks like a ram turned car

Had my 06 rt since 2010. Replaced my engine at 140k miles and now at 170k. Only thing about dodge is the car is heavy so replacing parts like control arms and tie rods are a norm

i really wanted to know more about the car, for example is it harder to drive it in the snow? Are speed bumps a huge problem? i really found the gas tip very helpful, due to me being 16 and buying my first car, heard a ton of cons about this car too, which made me quite hesitant but this video gave me hope :)
I made a video on driving it in the snow if you want to check that out! But it’s not good in the snow, you need snow tires and must be very careful. It’s great over bumps but the suspension wears out very fast I had to replace the front end twice in 4 years (cost of $1000-1500 each time). Now after 4 years of that same car (270,000 kms) it’s still going strong, nothing major broke down, only need to get fixing suspension both front and back over time. It was my first car at age 18 and got me through university. Was both fun and practical and I honestly would have done it all over again

Jennie Amador if you catch me at a good time I like to respond to interesting comments here and there that pop up haha :) I would have a mechanic check it out, it’s easy for people to lie or hide issues on a used car and even old cars in great condition will need work soon on something because parts break. I’d personally stay away seems like a lot to fix and repair unless you’re getting a crazy deal. If you find a car that was better taken care of you won’t be buying into someone else’s problems as much! Just my thoughts. I recently bought another charger, immaculate condition but still needed things like brakes and a steering part, just stuff that will wear out over time no matter how great the car is.

As far as the insurance goes I was 19 when I bought mine and my insurance is only 80$ a month for full coverage.

I was absolutely shocked when I heard this seeing as i had gotten a 2003 nissan 350z quoted at $142 a month for full coverage. The 350, though, is a high performance sports car

My first car was a 2008 Dodge Charger super bee srt8 and ngl all that power was a lot to get used to. My ego definitely was way to high and it took me awhile to realize ya my car is fast and awesome and that I don’t need to race everyone to prove it lol. It’s at 142,000 miles and is still going strong. I plan on taking it to college and hope I never have to say goodbye to it. It’s also been an amazing project for me and my dad to work on improving.

gonna be honest only thing that had me hooked was the hemi because I've been looking at 350zs and mustangs but this car seems like a great deal given the practicality and power compared to the other two and its a lot cheaper

wasn't my first car , was actually a hands down all ford or nothing guy for the longest but after my wreck looking for a good any reliable car was hard in my area till I decided lets look into some dodges and my first drive in a charger I fell in love sense I'm a taller guy it was roomy enough I didn't feel crushed, like the video says some small fixes had to be done granted its a 06 with over 250k miles has been one of my bests and would happily recommend anyone starting out to get one.

Semi-related story:
I'm just about to purchase myself a 2010 Charger R/T with the 5.7L Hemi (July 2018). And let me tell you, I am SO fucking excited for it. However this will be my second car. My first was a 2003 Silverado with the 5.3L V8. While the Charger is a decent starter car, in my opinion I was a 10x better driver due to me having a Silverado first.
Since it was so big I learned how to park in tight spaces and be generally cautious about size. Since it was a pig on gas, I learned to drive smooth to save on fuel. It's powerful but slow to accelerate, so you can't get into as much trouble and won't get as many tickets. You learned power control as well, cause it had near 300hp going to one rear tire on a light back end (eventually the diff would lock but not before some squealing hehe). So when I went to drive the Charger with the 5.7 Hemi, I never felt like it was an unmanageable beast. I never chirped the tires or ever felt like I gave it too much gas. I wasn't worried about it's size for a sedan either.
And finally, having a pickup first will also teach you the most important lesson of all...
Never underestimate how fun a car (or truck) can be, no matter what it is. You'd be surprised how well a 2003 Silverado handles if you have the balls to try! I am still giddy at the thought of me having a V8 Charger, but I still kinda miss my truck.
How is the reliability
I don't have a charger but I can pretty much relate... 18 years old and I own a 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT with the 3.5, it's a boat, no doubt, but it still is a little speedy, I purchased her with 52K miles for about $6,100 and insurance is about $110 per month. I love the magnum, lots of space, rides nice, and decent power. I do kind of hate the gas mileage though, I get about 14 MPG. None the less, like I said, its fun, reliable, and its a great car!

Update: My mom is planning on giving me the charger IF they get a new 2021 Toyota Tacoma so hopefully next year I’ll start learning how to drive it

Just got a ‘14 black charger r/t back in October-first car. 3 months later still love it as much as when I was first surprised by it. Only complaint I have so far is gas. I don’t drive highway much, I live in a small town so 90 percent of my miles are city.

I have a Charger 2007 RT 5.7, bought it in 2010, I still have it and is my daily use car, engine and transmission still works like new, it has some details due the daily use, I probably have spent around 5 or 7k in the last 5 years in repairs and maintenance, most of the repairs where (sensors,shocks and front complete, A/C) and only a leaking problem solved with seals replacement, It's a great car, right now I'm thinking in buying a Challenger just for weekends car and keep the Charger for daily use, due it stills run smooth.

first car, 1985 Cadillac sedan deville...V8! miss that car! I'm 33yrs old now and I just got my first '10 dodge charger V6 3.5! love it! I live in Kuwait and I do notice that it burns coolant fast, especially during the 50 celcius summers so I do have to keep an eye on the coolant level and I use a desert type coolant which is pink color. The A.C. keeps up very nicely but either way its too dam hot in this country!! the dodge charger is a very popular car in Kuwait so parts are cheap its just trying to find a good shop to install them, the dealerships charge way way too much!! the insurance I have is $70 for the whole year, lol yes I said for the whole year, Kuwait has a lot of good things!! I am slowly looking for MODS so this channel is very helpful and I'm also looking to educate myself as well. So far I have had to replace the radiator, alternator, engine O-rings, timing belt, water pump and some small things here and there with the pulleys and re did the suspension...the Kuwaiti that had this car before me didn't take care of it but I got it for $2900 USD and I put approx. $3000 USD into it so overall $6000 isn't too bad with 230,000km. I am very happy and it all runs great now!
gas is really cheap for me living in the middle east lol I pay for approx. 65lt 6 KWD (Kuwait dinar) which is under $20 USD lol for a full tank! I also commute to work so the high way miles are very very good!! I consume more gas on my day off driving around here and there and I get approx. 460-500km per week if I'm just commuting to work...and not going anywhere after work.
First vehicle is an 01 ram, still runs like a dream but needs some work done to it and after driving it for over a year I want to downsize for a daily driver, honestly looking for a charger with this body style I just absolutely love it for some reason, guess it just looks like a ram turned car

Had my 06 rt since 2010. Replaced my engine at 140k miles and now at 170k. Only thing about dodge is the car is heavy so replacing parts like control arms and tie rods are a norm
The funny thing is I have a 2015 Mercedes e350 I crashed and am getting fixed tell me why I’m going back to my childhood and getting a 2010 rt over a rental

I'm torn between wanting a Challenger or a Charger, considering that they are both of my favorite vehicles and since I already got a Dodge truck, I want a car that I want to ride around town on Friday and Saturday nights with friends, go on a Sunday cruise while others are in church. Since I'm 25 with a high paying job, I'm asking myself do I want to pull the trigger on getting one or wait around for a few years and find one at a right and reasonable price.

I've been considering buying a dodge magnum sxt for a while now as a second car the magnum being essentially a station wagon charger.
Right now I use a saturn but I've been wanting something bigger and faster that I can use for more work oriented activitys... Like hauling cargo and hauling ass

i really wanted to know more about the car, for example is it harder to drive it in the snow? Are speed bumps a huge problem? i really found the gas tip very helpful, due to me being 16 and buying my first car, heard a ton of cons about this car too, which made me quite hesitant but this video gave me hope :)
I made a video on driving it in the snow if you want to check that out! But it’s not good in the snow, you need snow tires and must be very careful. It’s great over bumps but the suspension wears out very fast I had to replace the front end twice in 4 years (cost of $1000-1500 each time). Now after 4 years of that same car (270,000 kms) it’s still going strong, nothing major broke down, only need to get fixing suspension both front and back over time. It was my first car at age 18 and got me through university. Was both fun and practical and I honestly would have done it all over again

I’m super interested in buying a Dodge Charger that was once a cop car, due to that it was torn from the inside, radio doesn’t work and the arm rest thingy is jankey and not well put, plus all the lights on the dashboard turn on, lady says it’s a sensor but I have my doubts about it, any advice?
Jennie Amador if you catch me at a good time I like to respond to interesting comments here and there that pop up haha :) I would have a mechanic check it out, it’s easy for people to lie or hide issues on a used car and even old cars in great condition will need work soon on something because parts break. I’d personally stay away seems like a lot to fix and repair unless you’re getting a crazy deal. If you find a car that was better taken care of you won’t be buying into someone else’s problems as much! Just my thoughts. I recently bought another charger, immaculate condition but still needed things like brakes and a steering part, just stuff that will wear out over time no matter how great the car is.
Marspeed I’m going to take it to auto zone, see if they can run a quick check on the car and see if they can tell me somethings about it, and the price I’m buying it for is so dirt cheap, still can’t wrap my head around the price lol, but it’s $1,700 (I know) it’s be nice if I can send photos of the car, the body isn’t bad at all except for a dent in the front, interior is okay except for the arm rest, and the “sensor”

Hey I need your advice on this one I just bought a 2009 Dodge Charger V8 5. 7 L Hemi engine and it has 98, 000 miles the car has no issue with it except a couple of minor things that I'm fixing right now the engine and transmission of very strong the car had one owner before me and never was in the accident now my whole question is I'm planning on to investing at least $4, 000 into the car because I'm planning on keeping it even if I'll get another vehicle I'm still going to keep this one because I love the car I'm in love with the car and I had a lot of German cars expensive cars that emptied out my bank account now I'm very happy with this car. My question is would the mileage I have on there do you think it will last me another 200, 000 miles at least on top of the 100, 000 that I already have so it would be worth for me investing for Grand into it to make it look sporty I want to modify the car meaning cosmetic wise and some things under the hood with that investment plus the $6, 500 that I paid for the car do you think it's weird for me to do that and do you think if I take care of this car well enough it will last me till like 300, 000 miles before the engine or transmission starts going on me or is that a lot of mileage you think it will not make it to that

K Swift no stay the fuck away from anything that has over 200-300 THOUSAND miles and if it isn’t a Toyota or Honda ESPECIALLY IF HE SAYS IT HAS AN OVERHEATING PROBLEM because that means it overheated and the engine head/block is warped and the head gasket is about to give out really soon (if he got that car that high I’m miles he’s prob a pro which means he’s gunna CON u for profit if he’s selling for 800 than the car is prob with maybe 100-200 bucks) so just walk away bro he’s selling it because it’s about to break down but they won’t ever admit that obviously
