Waxing is better. Cleans the face from the roots.. after waxing u can use a face scrub to clean the face n pores..waxing doesn't hurt if done by a professional. I wouldn't recommend razor as it doesn't clean the roots or remove blackheads which will further allow for infection to spread and cause concerns.
I would not use a scrub after waxing! Waxing will remove skin on top and can cause skin sensitivity. I would apply antiseptic cream and something that will soothe the skin to calm down any sensitivities. And, waxing can be uncomfortable,even if it’s done by a professional, you’re hairs are literally being pulled out

I have sensitive skin and thick, dark hair and waxing is kinder to my skin than shaving. We don’t need to shave our faces on top of every other body part. Yes you're right I get acne when I use blade on my face it really weakens the skin barrier but when I waxing is way better for face but it's also stripping your skin but wax is less damaging then blade but I prefer threading the whole face that's perfect

Then I have to repeat again but it have to be long enough but my usual spots, lately I have different reactions. My mom noticed but realized it's must be the ladies have using different waxing products. So, my mom find another salon place, I have more better results and I found out there are different waxing products and depending the skin reactions. But what suck, is the prices if u have full facial hairs, then its can be pricey. Not much but still pricey. But shaving it's good but as an woman, men have thick skin while women have thin skin. I learn this while I was in high school. I have to heal my face and let my facial hair grown. So, wearing my mask since covid started. It's work on my side and I only shaved when I'm out eating at food restaurants or in holidays or special events. I know about laser that can permanently make the facial hair gone forever but it's too expensive. So women have to either waxing or shaving.

HOWEVER, vellus hairs aka peach fuzz, should be waxed in the direction of hair growth. By waxing against, it can cause the follicle to change angles and have more access to the blood supply, resulting in thicker darker hair when the regrowth comes in. I'm a victim of this too. At school I pointed it out to my teacher that waxing with the hair growth is what our instruction manuals taught but she said she "waxed it like normal all the time" and told my classmates to just do it how she taught them. Sure enough I now have thick black hairs on my chin that I have to tweeze daily from the hair being waxed incorrectly. It could've been prevented.
As an esthetcian, sugar waxing all the way!!! Its way more gentle on the skin and gets all the teeny baby hairs (1/16"). But not gonna lie I also shave when I'm tight on time.
Applying witch hazel immediately after wax helps prevent irritation/infection tremendously! Waxing is my preference. It lasts so much longer and has much better results
