- I've used the Veet Easy Gel Face Wax for Normal skin in this video, these are meant to be delicate on the facial skin and NOT cause such irritations and problems but you can already see what happened here.
I'm never going to wax my face again, that's for sure. I mean, I love my tinkle razors and bleaches! Atleast they don't burn me or leave me with huge painful bumps. Also, the hair coming back thicker from razors is a myth. It's tried and tested.

You must never apply ice directly to a burn, but instead, wrap a cloth or flannel around an icepack or ice cubes. The cloth should then be pressed against the burn, reducing swelling and soothing the pain.
You should not wax your face if you have acne or sensitive skin

I have acne prone and sensitive skin, got hairy after shadi got kids, hormonal imbalance ... Tried boots face strips and had horrible pimples afterwards but had good experience with veet facial strips
Maybe it was first time, Fatima you should have gone to a good salon and should have tried strips afterwards
And never wax a surface twice, make sure your hands and face are properly clean,, use a calming face mask and then soothing lotion afterwards,, wax your skin at night time so you don't touch your face again and again

If you're not too hairy and have oily acne prone skin, don't you ever wax your face.!

I am so glad I found this video. I have never had an issue but for some reason this face wax stripping really caused some splotches on my skin; mainly chin and right between the eyebrows. And all the advice and video explanation is very helpful! Thank you!!!

Its been 2-3 years im waxing my facial hairs. I have even burnt my face.
Few things i have learnt....
1. Use Rivaj hair wax strips for sensitive skin. They are hell soft on ur face. If you are going to saloon for wax tell them to use fruit wax.
2.don’t directly put them on skin. First apply powder. rub the strip on ur palm then apply on ur skin.
3. Stretch ur skin in every possible way before pulling the strip... right left uper neche her jgah se... sounds weird but it helps alottttt... trust me
4. Don’t wax the area u have already waxed. If some hair are left, do that area after 10-15 minutes. Don’t wax ur cheeks if u have blackheads or pimples.
5. Have thandi taseer wala khana few days before u are planning to wax. Never wax when your body is heat up. Make sure you have 1-2 glass of cold water before and after.
6. Avoid makeup for 2-3 days as ur pores are still open.
7. Dont apply ice right after having wax. I have always noticed it causes small white pimples.
8. Remove the residues by gently massaging the olive oil on skin. Then wash with face wash. Never use wipes that comes with waxing strips. In my experience they have never properly removed the wax.
i did use veet strips and found them hard nd harsh on my skin. Rivaj strips nd fruit wax really worked for me.

simi b yes, i still wax my face when my face badly needs wax. Threading and shaving don’t suit my skin. Hair growth does decrease if you use only one method which suits you. It can be wax or threading.
Rabiya Javed you can consult dermatologist regarding laser treatment. But i can share some stuff with you which helped me.
There’s important thing... keep your genetics in mind. After all they have control of your appearance from hair to skin. Keep a check on your skin care products.. avoid whitening creams!!! Find what suits you.. healthy food choices help larger pores and acne. I suggest, don’t pull your skin because waxing and threading do trigger acne. Make healthy food choices and workout. We ignore such things and want immediate results.
I have heard alot about laser treatment that laser only reduce hair growth and thickness if you keep taking every session and when you stop hair will comeback. Some people says laser lefts scars on your face.. but the truth is whatever you do “Your facial hair wont vanish completely”. Don’t go under machine when your skin is already suffering.. religiously try what suits you.
Invest in following things...
Chia seeds.. good for gut health.
Face wash which have salicylic acid.
A good toner.. it can be just rose water
Gel Moisturiser fragrance free
Water based Cleanser..
I understand how you feel in this video girl. I threaded my face a few days ago and went through the exact same thing. I got bumps all over my face and it was swollen and then filled with pimples.
To combat it, I used aloe Vera gel and then after the redness went down, I used pimple treatment to get rid of the pimples how I would normally do.
Don’t worry girl, it’ll go away soon! And you still look beautiful as ever ❤️

Quick trick which definitely works. Apply powder before - wax - use their oil strips to get off the left over wax/coconut oil also works - then wash face with a face wash then reapply powder on the clean skin. I have super sensitive skin and this definitely works for me every time. Yes your skin might get red but it subsides within 2-3 hours and no bumps.
Hello..just watched ur video today..so thought to ask u, I am exactly suffering from the exactly same condition..burnt skin put of wax..full of redness, dryness...what ever I put on face it still dries, lots of itchiness, some kind of blackish spots too..I m really worried about my skin as I never had skin issues before this. Fatima, the SAME THING happened to me using Veet face wax strips! And you know what helped? Generously applying baby powder before waxing. The wax strip grips onto the skin and it actually peels off the skin while pulling off the strips, which is why this happens. And which is why it hurts. I waxed without baby powder or very less baby powder in certain areas and this exact thing happened. Then I waxed other areas with generous amount of baby powder. Trust me the results were really good then. That’s because the wax did not stick to the skin and only sticked to the hair. I hope this helps. Thank goodness I learnt this and only harmed my skin, before I waxed my little sister’s upper lips. If I had done that to her, my mom would have killed me, and they would have never trusted me 😂
These strips are not good at all. The same thing happened to me. My skin had always been smooth and waxing with these gave me scary tiny bumps all over which took several days to get better.

Let me tell you what more you could’ve done
1. You NEED to tighten your your skin real nicely to help with pulling off the hair easily and to not to make it sag
2. You should always soothe the waxed skin immediately with a clean part of the strip. People use hands but using the back of strip not only prevents bacteria from irritating your skin, but it will get any wax residue, as well
3. NEVER, and I can’t stress this enough, NEVER wax the same facial area twice in the same hour of wax session. Your face and underarms are the most sensitive!!
4. The wax isn’t supposed to drip off the the stick or melt on the strip. If it does, its TOO hot for your skin to handle!!
5. Did I say, NEVER WAX THE SAME sensitive (face and underarms) AREA TWICE?
I did this mistake yesterday and my skin is horribly red now can you suggest how can I make my skin normal sooner cuz I study abroad and it's so hard to go outside with this red face of mine
@@farheenansari1012 its best if you just use a non-fragrance lotion (not even mint) and keep on moisturizing the area every 3-4 hours. Sit in front of an AC or fan. Also, don’t sweat or do any exercise. Just use this time to relax. Some people might suggest using aloe vera gel but it doesn’t work for me and it irritates my skin even more. So, relax your moisturized burnt skin in front of a fan and the burnt part will flake off in 2-3 days.
Sister please tell me what to do ., 2 months back I waxed my upper lips area that time my upper lips looks normal but after some hour my upper lips arra where i put waxing strips turns into odd white color and my upper lips looks so over white , i dont understand what type of side effects it is but it looks really different as compare to my face color , hair is grown to my upper lips but the color is still same . @@amnahashmi2876 I am not a physician so I would recommend going to a doctor if the skin feels like burning.
When I wax my face after some time, the skin color is much whiter than it was before. If you are noticing that its just a skin color difference (no burning sensation, at all) it might just be because the facial hair (which are dark) have been removed from that part along with any built up dust. It is completely fine. What I do is, I just wax my entire face with caution to match the color difference and the white color just fades away into a more natural tone in a few days. If you think it is something more serious, go to a dermatologist!

And after waxing always apply a soothening ointment or alovera gel to reduce inflammation
It’s best if you put a good amount of baby powder on top of the area your going to wax before you apply the wax. It will remove the hair and hurt your skin a bit less.
Also after removing the wax hold your skin with your hand for a couple seconds until the pain starts to go away.

I remember one time my mom waxed in between my brows and she actually ripped off a part of my skin (I just came off of an acne medicine called Accutane...pro tip DONT WAX ON ACCUTANE AND AT LEAST FOR A COUPLE MONTHS AFTER). Another time she accidentally got wax on my eyelid by my lashes and we tried getting it off with wipes and ended up having to rip some of it off...IT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY LASHES 💀 Nobody noticed surprisingly, whenever I brought it up people were like now I do- I hope your skin calmed down after!!! hi guys, i do know that this was uploaded a few months ago but for anyone who recently has burned their face from using wax strips please know that it will hurt and itch but their are many things you can do to help reduce the pain and reduce the scarring:
1. DON'T ITCH IT!!!!
2. Use aloe vera gel constantly whenever you can, especially in the mornings before putting on any type of makeup, and in the night time before you sleep. Additionally, after washing your face try to apply aloe vera gel too.
3. Use vitmain e oils, you may even find it useful to mix it in with aloe vera gel.
4. Vaseline along with aloe vera and vitamin e oil is also a really good recommendation.
5. Change your pillow sheet once in a while to prevent germs and bacteria entering your burn.
6. Try not to use makeup/ very minimal. Using makeup will only make it worse and longer to heal .
7. Don't wax your face anytime soon after as your skin will be highly sensitive.
8. Moisturise daily with acid free face lotions as it will soothe the burn and not sting your face.
9. Drink water to help your body take in moisture to prevent your skin from drying.
Depending on your burn, healing can take up anywhere from a week- a few months, so please be patient and calm and continue following these steps, i promise you'll see the difference shortly.

a burn occurs with high temperature, it seems like the wax simply removed a few layers of your skin. ouch.
My sister had the same reaction. The bumps almost scarred up, she had them for so long. I’d rather have my peach fuzz than a huge allergic reaction.

Also, quick point - to anyone who has done this for the first time and has had a similar reaction, soak a face towel in cold water and wring out the excess water. Lie down and put it on your face, pressing into all the areas that feel hot. The towel will heat up - soak again and put it on your face again. Repeat for at least 30-40 minutes (longer if you need to) - that should take down any swelling, heat, bruising etc.

I had an impulsive thought and stuck a small piece of wax strip on my face lmao.
The skin looked pretty red for a couple hours, but after 6-7 hours, the lil patch looked quite nice but it was real visible that I waxed it. Mother was not happy.

Hey! I’ve been using Veet strips since around 10-12 years and I’m completely satisfied with the imported ones. Local ones doesn’t work on my hair or anybody’s hair because those are just crap. Anyways, it’s mentioned in the pack to run a test on any body part before applying it directly to the face, I hope you checked the instructions.

Always try to remove hair from a specific part in one stroke, and never rub your face with those wipes or anything. Just gently remove the wax and then use soft tissues and remove that wipe oil to see if wax is gone. I only do my upper lips or jaw line + chin with strips and sometimes this burn or redness happens because of being aggressive with the wipes or using strips twice or thrice on the area to which i've already waxed. I hope it helps

Veet strips seems like plastic. When I used it on my hand, it was way more painful than the normal wax. So it must be harsh for the face. Tc !! do not use veet products

You have very sensitive skin like me. I used to use wax strips before on my legs but I have switched to threading which was cost effective and easy once I learnt to do it properly. It's perfect way for me to remove hair on face, and much less painful than waxing.

Really i dont like VEET wax strips, 1 week ago i used VEET wax strips for my upperlips and the strip pulled of my skin and it burnt alot and the wound was soo sooo soo prominent, eventhough i have used NAIR wax strips and it didnt harm me and they were really easy

@@fabencho458 so what about it?? You and only YOU know yourself, right? these PEOPLE you keep on referring to only see you for what 15 20 30 mins of your life. My point is who cares what people think?? obviously you should care about your personal hygiene but the fact that people look out for that because their scared how someone will judge them isn't right. You just need to have confidence in yourself and then that will show. Also maybe stop judging others and try to be more positive, everyone is different, we all have our stories and our bodies are a beautiful way to tell us of them :).

I also faced the same issue when I got my face waxed. That was mainly because my skin was sensitive and thin and waxing it made the worst. After some days those scars turned from red to black and eventually faded out. And now I am thinking to get laser done instead of removing facial hair with wax.
How long did the scarring faded and did you ripped your skin as well?

Thank god i always use veet strips no reaction found on me but i am not use these strips on full face only sideburns i use it
I used these too Nd ended up with acne ... I will never use them on my skin
