Would push ups have the same effect? I'm 5'8 but my clavicles are 7.1 inches respectively (which is in the higher ranges according to google) and have always been wider than my brothers and my peers. It may have been due to me doing a ton of push ups growing up. Since bench presses and push ups are similar.
you cant grow your bones like that my man, it's not the same as knuckle punching trees for decades... also it's not recommended to overgrow traps if you want wider looking shoulders
Think of it this way: the bones of bodybuilders are thicker than average due to the repeated healing of induced microfractures. If you don't believe that a gradual increase in bone mass in combination with proper stretching can achieve lateral bone growth, you are unfortunately mistaken. As for traps, over growing them is quite hard if you’re doing it naturally.
@@cyzz_le ok then can you direct me to any studies where any substantial growth of clavicles was achieved? Thicker does NOT mean longer. And nah you can overgrow em naturally and take away that T-shape, up to you tho

Like I said earlier, there is no specific study I can point to because it's too niche. I'm living proof of this, so I believe you're the one coping. As for the studies I provided, I believe you missed the most important points, so I'll reiterate them. If bone growth in the long bones is possible until age 25, that means the epiphyseal plates are still open, and stimulation via exercise will not only induce microfractures, but also release HGH and IGF-1, which will grow the bone. The rats are proof of this as microfractures + GH = longer tibias. It takes imagination to put it all together, but I did it IRL. If you have proof otherwise, feel free to share. But batting down ideas you haven't full understood yet seems like a poor way to spend your time, on RUclips or otherwise.
I don't know why my collarbone is thick broad and so much visible and i am not even skinny is it because of reverse hand pushups i used to do alot of variation pushups at age between 16 to 17
For the exercise, I'm assuming any push press variation would work (I use dumbbells and sandbags and push overhead). I know pullups are a pulling motion but what effect wide pull ups have for example?
I always stretch after my workout, because muscles tighten during a workout, so loosening them after keeps them loose during the day. Doing your stretches after also lessens the mental strain of having to do an entire workout after your stretching routine.
The best way to get a V taper is to pick more aesthetic parents next time you are born, with wider collar bones, a small lower rib cage, narrow hips, and lats that attach further out on your arms for that batwing appearance. Some nice quads and chiseled calf muscles help the look. If you want to look really studly, some dense facial and chest hair completes the look. (And if you want to do some muscle mag posing, you can always shave it off). Not trying to rain on your parade, but we are mostly stuck with the DNA we are born with, including the ability to add muscle easily naturally, or not. You are a handsome young man; be happy with what you have, and your health, and for God’s sake, don’t use gear to try and be something you weren’t born to be.
Sam, very good question. I have never dealt with that problem myself, so I cannot tell you from experience. However, I do know a few things that help: 1) minoxidil + microneedling (I use this for facial hair growth) 2) castor or rosemary oil (I also use this for facial hair growth) 3) biotin supps and increasing your collagen intake I can make a whole video on this, but these are some low-cost things that might help.
@@Sam-ui3zh If I am being honest, I am not the best person to ask. However, given the research I did on the topic, it seems like resensyl and procapil can slow down hair loss and revitalize hair follicles, so it is worth trying. That said, I would recommend trying more natural things, such as aloe vera, coconut oil, castor oil, rosemary oil, and foods with high biotin (eggs, salmon, sweet potatoes) first. Any reliance on chemicals is usually not great for your body; aim to use more natural ingredients instead. Hope this helps, brotha.

Two years ago I was built like a brick (uniform width from my shoulders to my waist). It's definitely possible to change. You need a clean diet, lots of protein, and mechanical stress (stimulation) on/around your clavicles through exercise. This paper explains that it's possible to grow your clavicles up until the age of 25 by increasing endochondral ossification: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7749897/. Do note that growth comes slower after your teenage years. Best of luck my friend.
1: do movements that place some stress along your collarbone in a horizontal direction because of wolff's law 2: stretch your muscles close to the collarbone, to loosen them up and allow for more growth 3: beef up your shoulders, traps and neck (traps shouldn't be trained too often, do neck under your own risk) the obliques thing is kind of BS, you can still train them in higher rep ranges and not so hard, so they give you the nice shredded line along your waist but never get too big (HGH is also a reason for big obliques)
Excellent summary. As for obliques, you do have a point, and training them is perfectly fine. However, they are lower ROI than the other muscles mentioned. Hope this clears things up.
@@cyzz_le exactly, and especially if you are an ectomorph, it is better to focus more on important muscles, as you probs won't be able to tackle working your lats, delts, traps and obliques without hitting a systemic recovery limit
