To add to the fun/pain - the track that plays after Singed injects Vander is the same track that plays in S1 E3 when Vander fights Deckard/Silco. Vander really got the same death track played twice.
The pain I feel watching this ep... as a fan of league of legends since 2012, seeing how far riot has came and how they actually gave us a 10/10 video game to the main stream media is short of amazing. Thank you riot for going the extra mile every time. o/
Isha didn't deserve to die. But she did deserve the life of wonder and joy and adventure and color and _safety_ that Jinx gave her, literally lifting her from the sewer and changing her whole life, her whole perspective. Like Prez said, her life was suddenly full of color.
something in me tells me that jayce saw what the future would have become if viktor kept using the hextech which is why he came to destroy it. he also keeps repeating “i won’t fail this time” because he had promised viktor to destroy it
Wait, so, as we see, when Singed upgraded his tool to "control" Warwick, it changed color from green-red to green-orange. So, probably when Viktor "died" and Warwick went nuts, he is like spitting orange lava. Maybe it is not because of Viktor, but because while everyone left, Singed was able to put this tool into Warwick. However, don't see it in any frame on Warwick, so, just pure speculation. Because other people reaction was like loosing their soul and staying still, so, theoretically, this should have also happened to Warwick, as Viktor touched him. Even if he went berserk again, he previously was not spitting lava. So, it is probably Singed.
Also while Warwick already has fingerprints on him, he wasn't integrated into the Hivemind of Viktor (as he wasn't cured), so Viktor dying shouldn't really affect him. This seems like a clever misdirect so the audience puts the blame on Jayce, who probably has very good reasons for killing his best friend (the "I won't fail" lines seem to hint at him being here on a mission)
@@sirmcdust5572 True. Here we have only 2 variants. 1) Either Jayce is good and Viktor bad - Jayce saw something in Arcane, he says "I won't fail" and he also sees that Viktors servants don't have "brain" and are empty inside and actually look like void creatures with violet colors and etc. So, Viktor is manipulated by void which took for of Sky in his head (plus, hextech core was also violet and looke like void cell at the end), so, Jayce needs to stop it from expanding. 2) Jayce is bad and actually he is manipulated by void, because when he twitches and sees thing, we also see violet color and twitchings. While Viktor is saving everyone, because people he saved still have their own will, so, as long as Viktor is alive, there should be no problems. Plus Viktor said their is ancient voice in Jayce head and his mind suffered, so, he can see things.
Singed's device is actually green and Shimmer purple. He changes the Purple vial to red/orange. I interpreted that scene as, when Viktor died, his various augments and upgrades of his followers 'failed', and their bodies rejected them, just as the plants rejected the transmutation. It was only Viktor's magical energy and essence keeping them running, which is how he stayed connected to them. Vander (whose last name might actually be Warwick?) had some of that transmutation stuff on his face and probably "in" him from the healing Viktor had done. When Viktor died, all the others succumbed to their pre-HexCore transmutation ailments. The same would have happened to Vander, but his healing factor and regenerative capabilities are so insane that he is actively recovering while dying from the HexTech transmutation 'burning out' of him. It doesn't look like Lava to me as much as molten metal. It's also worth noting that the message in the pattern that Viktor detected is the same as the one Heimerdinger concluded must be there - mages and magic are dangerous *because* of the human factor, not in spite of it. It _is_ in fact mankind's turbulent relationship to power, to life, to mortality, to existence itself, that corrupts. Rage. Compassion. It's the human element that is at fault, the human element that generates all good and all evil. Vander was Viktor's attempt to prove the good was worth the risk of the evil. Turns out he was wrong.
There is a frame after Vander goes berserk where we can see Singed standing inside the house. During when Viktor says "Humanity". They just made it really inconspicuous.
