Smita Prakash might consider approaching the initial question with a bit more empathy, especially when addressing a legendary spin bowler in cricket who boasts an impressive record of 800 wickets in Test Matches and 534 wickets in One Day Internationals. This record remains unmatched to this day and may well remain unbroken for the foreseeable future. It's highly unlikely that Murali expected such a question to be his first, and this disappointment is quite evident, coming from a senior journalist.
