How Electric Vehicles May Affect Hawaii’s Housing Market

Aloha! The Biden administration just proposed rules to ensure new car sales shift towards electric.
These new rules could bring a revolution to the US Auto Industry. According to the Wall Street Journal, this could bring an increase in Ultralong-range electric cars - which, given Oahu’s size, could potentially drive all around the island without needing a recharge.
Condo associations will need to start planning ahead to make sure there are EV chargers. Older condo buildings might see some resistance to installing electric vehicle chargers, but new buildings should have them built in from the start.
