So on my Nth time watching this and I'm paying attention to the camera work and the insane timing and improv needed for this one-take...
1. timing the lights at the crosswalk
2. lucky bonus of having the walk countdown hit 0 right when Ren stops walking and crosses his arms
3. the way they moved themselves and the framing around those two pedestrians just before going under the bridge...wow

Hey Cliff .you know what it is about him, I comment a lot on various Ren vids, sparked up mini conversations with a wide variety of folk from all over this planet, It does not matter if you are a 72 year old Hank Williams fan, a 62 year old metal head, a 50 year old Raver, a 40 year old grunge head right down to younger folk who are already into Rap.... All there for the exact same reason.... "My music is really connecting, when people find it, respect it... " I have never known an artist to be that cross genre and cross generational at the same time, and time after time after time.. He has metal heads listening to Rap, he has rappers listening to classical.... and all done with grace and humility... there is a difference between Greatness and Genius, Greatness is hitting a target no one else can, Genius is hitting a target, no one knew existed.... Every time I listen to Ren, I realize how poor my memory is and how much of my vocabulary I’ve lost since swallowing pills for decades for my psychiatric condition. I used to have all of those great, perfectly descriptive words available to me right on the tip of my tongue. Not any more 😢

He has a respectable amount of subs at 1.85million, but being the legend he is I think it should be more, and think it would be great if Ren's retake created some new, younger fans not yet hip to Nas, or his greatness and influence on Hip-Hop. ✌️💚

A relative of my spouse had a job with local government in the Scottish Highlands, and in winter one of his jobs was snowplowing the roads. Began in the mid 50s and retired in the mid 90s. He had years, decades of photos of accumulated snow twice the height of the equipment and even now there are tall poles along both sides of the the roads to help you see where to drive if it’s snowed again and the plots haven’t caught up yet. They started building ski resorts in the 1960s for new wintertime employment. But by the 70s the pictures weren’t as impressive. Only as high as the snowplow or as high as a man. Now it snows about as little as I used to see in central NC in the 1970s. At first no one thought it was so bad, there had been light years now and then. But then every year was a light snowfall year. To be sure, enough still accumulates on the tops of the mountains that they just stay snowy year round. In recent years the summits only technically still have snow, on the north sides and in protected coves lasting just until the littlest bit of snowfall on the peaks happens briefly as early as September. Not year round snowy peaks. Last year the remaining snow was down to one tiny patch, a wheelbarrow load.

Never apologize for nerding out! I love seeing it! The first run through, that part that is "censored" out about no one to complain to, you seemed like you understood that. Do you know what it was that he "censored" out? I saw a post that said it was a derogatory term for gay men that starts with F and that it refers to the original Nas. Is that right or or is that someone stretching? I have no idea what it said. And it's driving me crazy. I felt like everybody complains so it could be anybody and that is why he censored it out? Idk. I wish I had answers :D

Omg the complaining about losing winter... I'm from Flint, Michigan and we had 3 days in a row, 70°, 50°, 30°. Wtf. Colorado just got a foot of snow and I'm like we used to get a foot of snow 😢 i miss seasons
You know how I know we're fucked as a society... short content is ruining people's attention spans and it's a problem but everyone is preying on it for money and views, therefore making the problem worse. Were swirling down the drain as a society, all I can do is laugh at it now.
