Mouse being dead feels like a fever dream...
That's why I have that fancy wireless charging mouse from Logitech. It was expensive, yeah, but it feels amazing having a wireless mouse and not having to worry about it because it's always fully charged.
@nazwa226 you must not play fps games. Wireless mouses and keyboards have additional lag.
The slow scrolling without the mouse reminds me how I used to play when I first started.
Just realised I played this guy about a month ago in an absolutely wild game where he did this. I'd forgotten his legend video, I should have known what was coming!
zztop had like 1500 wood for like 8 minutes lol. I was like begging him to seed farms only for him to sell all the wood and buy food XD
I frickin love this guy! My favourite thing about ZZTop is how he makes building-walls from his starting wood line to his Town Center. Any feudal age rush is funneled towards the TC and can't get close to the bulk of the eco. If there are Scouts he just makes two Spearmen to block the holes in the wall.
My second favourite thing about ZZTop is _Scorpions, yeah baby!!_

At first I thought T90 was just really bad at math but then I realized he's a pro caster and counted the 1 scout as a villager when he looked at 19 pop and 4 vills in queue 😂

This video was a one stop shop of showcasing a unique strategy and providing laughs when your mouse died and I could hear the disappointment in yourself 11 no worries. Nice job Hardy with the camera flashes to previous games.
They need to put a rolling ball back in the mice but it powers a generator for the battery = infinite power mouse.
That's actually a crazy stupid good idea! I'm sure the power is negligible so it's not possible.
I actually liked when you used the directional keys to navigate the camera. It made it feel more realistic, like I was watching an actual battle.

As an enjoyer of the ethiopian civ I would love to see more, I feel they have so many more game plans available then people really think.
Didn't quite get the full coverage of outposts this time, but at least he's learnt to get relevant blacksmith upgrades. Would be interesting to see a loss of his, where somebody presumably gets the timed attack you describe right.

T90, the battery in a wireless mouse will turn on a red LED, usually near the wheel, to indicate the battery voltage is running low. This will happen long before the batteries are dead to give you time to replace them.
It is common enough for a wireless mouse to have issues even if the batteries are not going bad. The simple fix is to take out the batteries and put them back in. This will often re- initiate the mouse so you can use it again.

They don't really explore what he is doing. They just see a couple of units, you should always check the army of the opponent. Against higher levels he would probably die in castle age, but it's still a great strat, it's really solid.
Right and no tech switch, scouts/LC don't count lol. But throwing your units into their counter.... Oh well gg any way

Zz was floating a lot and not producing that many resources. Could have gone archers again also
T90, about the dead long sword confusing you. There were two enemy long swords from red. Blue pulled his military back and started converting the front long sword while the 2 units ran diagonal. The conversion completed on first long sword which makes the unit stop. The stop let the second long sword get within hit box range of the former friend long sword. So to answer T90, the red long sword was killed by a blue long sword that used to be red but was converted a second before
Homie has over 4k games as Ethiopians and 600 games with all other civs combined!
ZZ may not have had the best micro game, but he did react in a competent way, and it ended up saving him the game at one point.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, Logitech have "PowerPlay" mouse pads which wirelessly charge the mouse (I use a G502 with a pad from ebay)

i might not be the first one but did you know youre referenced in a book. a german book called "echtzeitalter" youre first seen on page 72 just if you care. its a fictiv book about a boy playing lots of aoe2 ive seen this reference and was like does that guy actually exist? yeah, you do.

People like this are so frustrating to play against. It's almost like playing AI to where they have their plan and nothing you do is going to stop them. I am sure if red took him down to one villager and 1 tc, given the opportunity, he would have ended up with this exact same composition in another ~50 mins. Sure he will probably never advance above ~15XX but he'll probably never go below it either.
Also, the real beauty of this is the 1/2 knights. I've been on the receiving side of that and it freaks you out so you start scrambling and making bad choices because in your mind a wave of 20 knights is coming. Also, the huge score lead from scouting like that is probably very intimidating. I wonder if it's intentional.
Imagine your wireless mouse dying in the middle of a tournament. You'd never hear the end of it.

It feels to me that ZZT0942 is more of a macro player who has used his micro to defend his macro... It's interesting to see he doesn't really produce too much military until the late game. Easy to micro a few units and star macroing.
If red only attacked in the castle age with full power doubling down on those men at arms be could of won. He gave the brdathing dpace to his opponent and didn't really kill villagers.
T90 needs two mice his batteries are always low.
Man its so demoralizing to see the enemy fc that quick on arabia, you cant addapt fast enough and from then on its just survival mode

@@Th3UprightManI had two Logitech wireless just constantly deciding to lag for no discernable reason. Wired solved it. I'd only use wireless when it's necessary like from the couch, not worth the potential for problems otherwise.

Sorry what's so special about this strat? Mass scorpions? I've run into plenty of people at low ELO using that strat (and used it myself a few times). Vulnerable early, but a big deathball of scorpions is really hard to stop once it gets going.
