Just saw this review. Really enjoyed it. As a console gamer my whole life, I've been looking into getting a pc for quite some time. I recently made the plunge and went prebuilt. Purchased an Aurora R15 with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X cpu and 4090 gpu. Have been really enjoying it. I honestly can't believe how good this thing is. Runs like a dream. Have yet to get a monitor setup yet, but I will soon. Until then, I'll just have to settle for my C1 OLED.
@cheapshot7244 thanks! I know it is one of the best of the best (at least for a few more months). I've been doing a lot of research for a while now, and the insane deal I got for the prebuit was unreal. I couldn't pass it up. Imagine getting a 4090 for the price of a 4070 super. That's about how good of a deal I'm talking.
Alienware is the best imo. Not just talking about the PC but the WARRANTY is amazing. They'll literally drive to your house and fix your computer no matter where you live in the US. When my SSD went out, they sent me two SSDs for whatever reason. Replaced my screen for free when my dog bumped into it and a few other minor things that got fixed. Like the RGB lights going out on the front of the laptop. Plus I like aliens.
That’s true, but they will always find an excuse not to honor their warranty. I had a bad Ethernet port and fan going out on my $3000 m18 laptop and they wanted to charge me for repairs even though it was only 6 months old and still under warranty
@@sigueleentertainment2430 you're right it was good. I been waiting 7 months to get my CPU 1 fan replaced. They keep lying saying the tech came and I wasn't home.
Hey there. I've been a fan of the Alienware line of PCs for a long time. If you know their limitations going into the purchase, they are great. I personally like picking up the older units (R10 / R12) and setting them with decent CPUs/GPUs. You can buy them for a fraction of the cost of new and there's nothing at all wrong with a 5600x and a 3060 12gb for most use cases including content creation and games. I've been looking at the new R16 and almost pulled the trigger a couple of times on one. I'm excited to see Dell take things in a better direction. I don't mind the proprietary nature of things. They've improved cooling and noise and that's what was missing on the older units. I look forward to getting an R16 at some point. I'm currently running a 12900K / RTX 4070 TI custom rig. I mostly use it for amin and content creation work so it's more than adequate. But I'm still looking forward to the R16 being on my desk at some point in time. Thanks for the great video. Cheers Rick
I love this review, I bought Aurora R13 with the RTX 3090. this made me feel alot better about what i've done. I was a console player but since then moved on and haven't desired to move back. I was first using a 1440p alienware 27" monitor. But since I've bumped it up to a Samsung Odyssey Ark 1st gen. For good measure and I'm not the smartest man in the world when it comes to gaming values. But after I watched this review from start to finish. I really liked and enjoyed the non bs review and helpful tactile tips. I'm going to keep following and hopeful that my future gaming and electronic consumerism are still sound strong. Thank you, so very much for being apart of the community. ❤
I just bought this pc based in part on this review. Dell had a smoking deal on this 4090 setup… $2400, plus a 10% off coupon, along with $70 in Dell rewards and $375 cashback from Rakuten. Can’t wait to put this to work on my streams over my current 2080 Super rig. Thanks!
@@tramnguyen0000 This was a deal directly through Dell a few months ago. Amazingly it was for a 4090 Super. It didn't last very long and most people think it was some sort of price mistake.
I had the same complaint about the RGB per-game lighting but ***THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED*** as a note to any viewers. the setting is in the general settings where you can change this.
@DavidWilliams-kv4vj Glad you're finding my videos informative and helpful David! They definitely take a long time with all the testing involved so it makes me happy getting comments like this!
I'm only halfway through this video and I am insanely impressed with how in-depth you are in these videos as well as educational for the rest of us. I used to know about computers about 15 years ago or so and I know absolutely nothing anymore.
Dell is too stubborn to make a good case. Even back when I was in the IT world, HP servers and workstations were levels above Dell in design, quality and a look, especially on the case. HP back in 2003, 20 years ago used a Coolermaster Case for their gaming PC, it was called the X09 and I built my first gaming PC copying what they did. Maybe some day Dell will spend the money and make a decent gaming PC with a case from Corsair or Coolermaster?
@@moop111 Alienware cases has always looked good, that is their thing. But the r16, r15, plus al the older models, and all dell workstation pc's use the same case. They just change out the plastics/outer shell of the case. On the inside it has been the same for 10-15 years. And that limits them alot. in fan suport, how many and witch size fans you can fit, cable management, storage suport. Same with AIO suport, max one 240 ( when my Phanteks p600s case fits one 420 in front plus one 360 on top). Also with the motherbords, witch all have to be proprietary. So yes, I love how it looks, and have always liked the way alienware system have looked, BUT, that does not change the fact that it is still an 15 year old case that has been given a new plastic shell and made to look fresh. But is still horibly outdated. PS I have dyslexia so sorry for all the spelling mistakes.
Thanks for the review. Black Friday Sale and the unit just dropped to $2999 for Intel i9 14900KF (68 MB cache, 24 cores, up to 6.0 GHz P-Core Thermal Velocity) + 4090 + 64 gigs of Ram + 2TB + 1000 Plat power. Such a killer deal. Plus I get the Rakuten cashback + 5% off with my work discount. So HYPE to have this with my Samsung Oled Ultra Wide monitor :D
Just pulled the trigger on this 4090 model since they have it on sale for $3k. Feels like a great deal. Was between the LG C4 and the 32" Alienware OLED screen. Both very close in price. Went with the C4 and hoping I enjoy more as my gaming has moved more towards single player immersion.
I just got this today… what are your normal running temps and a temp under load… I feel like it runs a little hot… 90c on max setting on apex… seems sus
@censorshift11 i have a custom pc with a 360mm aio and I get around 75c on the cpu , intel cpus are just hot tbh I'm surprised how well the 240 mm aio in thos pc is doing, im sure the bios is also under voting a bit
@supernova751 thank you! Sorry it took so long. I've never tested so many versions of one PC before but I knew with a new design that this video would get a lot of attention so I had to put extra into it
Really like the format of your video, thanks. Even veteran buyers can suffer choice paralysis, so it's wonderful to see you frame each product against the market and embellish with potential alternatives and upgrades and such. Please keep up the great work!
Finally someone who has something good to say about this setup. I'm a gamer who has no interest in building a computer and who doesn't care if the motherboard has usb ports attached to it, or I can't buy another power supply or upgrade my motherboard. Dell has the best warranty of any of them and provides the best choice of options. When Corsair or any of the other pre-built computer companies drive 300 km. to my house to replace a motherboard under warranty like Dell did, I'll take a look at them. Till then.....I'm with Alienware.
I have the r16 1000w with the i9 14k and 4090 with 64gb. It gets here in a few days and I’m listing it for sale $1,000 under dells price as soon as it gets here. Lmk if you’re interested!!
@@marmaje69 ...good in my books. I live 300 km from the nearest city and they've sent a service person to my house a few times. One time when my ram was over heating and they couldn't figure it out they sent me a new Alienware which was better than the one I had, so I'd like to see Corsair or any of the others drive 300km to my door to replace a mother board or anything else for that matter. When you call the service number you get someone within 30 seconds or less.
I am still running an Aurora R9, and my top priority is low noise. I don’t game at all, but I’m a software engineer and also a podcaster, so video and audio work is heavy as well as code compilation, builds, and automated tests. GPU strain is moderate, but I/O speeds are my current limiting factor. I’m interested in this R16 because of its strength in noise. My office is my recording studio and a loud PC has no place there. I would never be able to build my own PC and get it quieter than the R16, so that’s my reason to go prebuilt.
I agree with your final thoughts. The best thing about these would be price to performance. Great to pick one up when sales come around. Best for people that dont plan on upgrading themselves.
Just bought one of these Aurora R16s for a great price (Black Friday) and I'm relieved to see the video card can be upgraded. Mine can with a Geforce 12GB 4070 which is a great card in most situations but the memory limit butts up against the requirements of a few games. So I'd like to pop in a 4080 Super.
For the RAM upgrade, whether the xmp can be selected/picked depends on the xmp voltage. The motherboard only allows 1.1v for ram. That is why in the video indicates that the ddr5 6000 can only run under base profile becauv. even though the memory has a 5600mt/s profile, the base profile is the only profile that run under 1.1v. So, if you want to upgrade you ram, try to find the memories run under 1.1v will be good to go. Typically, most of the server RAMs will be the case, run 5600mt/s under 1.1v, for the best stability. For myself, I upgraded with Crucial 64g 5600mt/s with heatsink, it runs 5600mt/s at 1.1v, with CL46 which is not impressive at all. The aiad64 memory test show similar latency, and a little bit faster in read/write/copy(all over 80g/s and close to the high 80g), which is good. If you are looking for a better performance memory solution, maybe the option is the ones can modify the profile, and define your own with 1.1v. I saw corsair memory can support that, maybe update the profile from ANOTHER fully UNLOCKED machine, then try to install to the R16. Not tried, but might work.
1 intake and 3 exhaust fans is crazy. I had to swap my RAD fans to intake for my own peace of mind. It keeps my temps relatively low and no negative air pressure so it works for me.
I ordered a R16 i9 14900F 4090 32 GB mem on 6 May I received it yesterday (13 May) with tax 2435.15 PLUS 15% off with Rakuten ($342) that brings total down to just under $2100. Iknow it's not the K chip but for the price I don't care. Love your channel and just subscribed.
I just purchased a R16 with the i9 14900KF, 4090, 64GB, and 4TB M.2 for $3699 :) Gets delivered next week. Will be a nice upgrade from my self built i9 9900K and EVGA 2080 Ti
I really am puzzled at not maintaining an interior lighting. Btw at 10:10, if you study the charts I think it’s worth noting CyberPower, AW, etc. traded CPU temps at a more-than-adequate 75c for substantially lower GPU thermals which is considerably better for gaming than the other extreme. At 10:47 it’s no surprise the AW sits dead middle for 4K which is why it has excellent 4K performance. It’s by design to be a 4K targeted system.
Phenomenal review. I purchased the R16 on a whim from a DELL advertisement last night. Glancing at the specs for CPU, GPU, M.2 capacity, and RAM specs.....I scratched my head when I saw the DELL online price! Like....is this a http site or https?! LOL. I ordered. Literally watched to see the USB Gen Specs for the rear, but was blown away by your presentation and in depth Desktop review. Again, phenomenal, keep it up nerd brother!
tbh idk why people so much hate Dell and alienware, I have the alienware m17 laptop i7 8th and still run like a champ, just order my r16 i7 13th, rtx 4070 ti with discount code bf tax 1660$ because cs2 lol
Yeeah ive had several of their laptops but no desktops. Their laptops have always been tanks and the most powerful compared to the competition. But their desktops seem cheaply made with cheap proprietary internals, which i have a problem with. I got their AW Graphics amplifier and they dont support it anymore. So theyre not perfect, but i still like their laptops.
Most of the people hating probably never actually had a r16 , one of my best friends has one and they said it’s actually pretty good, it can get a little loud with the fans and heat if your playing high end games, but overall she said it was great and recommends it for anyone who doesn’t want to build a pc or doesn’t have the time. I’m also about to get one after December thanks to my grandmother (she works for dell) she’s heard good things from customers who bought the pc.
its shit and its cheaper to call a local place and get a PC built with the components you want... this is an 8 year old PC with some new parts masquerading as a new PC
I just bought my Aurora R16! 14th i9 with 4090 and 32gb of ram. I was kinda confused why it has a higher 5600mhz than the 64gb with 5200mhz, so I went with the 32gb. Hopefully it outperforms my 4090 m16 r1.
Just ordered 4090 version sounds like I'm getting a good value overall for how I wanted to do my upgrade don't care about rgb much just the price to performance.
Most indepth review ive seen in a while and i appreciate you discussing upgradeability. A lot of users upgrade their pcs and i hate watching a review never knowing if i can upgrade something in it
Absolutely beautiful pc. It handles any game i run at 150+ fps, **ON ULTRA GRAPHICS** It's really easy to clean, and despite what many people say, if you maintain it, it really isn't loud at all. Obviously dust intake, etc would make it louder In general it's worth the money (I added a 2080 TI and intel i9, worth the investment)
you should really consider benchmarking the Micro Center pre-built computers to see how they stack up with everyone else too. I always thought they had good cost to performance as well as very good warranties for systems backed with very good in store support for upgrades and guidance.
I picked almost the same spec on micro center it actually cost more. I’m talking about $400-500 more so I think it’s a bargain to purchase from Alienware. Besides they have a Black Friday deal now.
Justin, thanks so much for the great review and video. What processor would you pick for the 4080? As tested you had the i7-13700F but with more options now which would you choose?
@is1human if cost is a factor then you'll see in the Price/Performance section that the i7 4080 version of this PC had the best value. But if it were me, I would pay more for the performance boost the i9 offers. Especially since for me creator work needs a really powerful CPU. But the gains will be pretty noticeable in gaming as well
@@JustinTechTips - Cool- do you mean the $150 upgrade to the i9-13 or the $300 upgrade to the i9-14 (with the 4080)? Guessing the latter. Of course, right now I'm on a 6 year old XPS with a 1070 so any of these would probably be pretty amazing!
Okay, just ordered the r16 with i9-13900F and a 4080 which was $2,850 with some extra storage. Got the AW3423DWF OLED monitor too. Should be a nice upgrade!
love the back ground wish i could afford any pc but i cant .been disabled is a struggle financially love to watch tech and your videos are clean .not asking for anything i am just a guy that loves your work and efort that you put into the videos
I just purchased an Alienware Aurora R16 with an RTX 4080 . I ordered it on 10.3.24 but it is still not shipped. I am not into upgrading, maybe 10 years ago but not now. I had a Digital Storm Velox but it died on me. I found that the CPU cooler's pump assemble came loose from the CPU. It also weighed 65+ pounds and was very hard to work on. I enjoy your channel and I hope my New PC comes soon, supposed to be by 10.16.24??
@TheLongWind no sorry if I said that in a confusing way. I was referring to the F variants that were not KF versions. Most of the prebuilts I review are K versions which are faster than non K versions.
i had my Alienware Aurora R7 for years and its been good to me but its time to get a new PC and Alienware Aurora R16 is in my budget, only upgrades im getting are the 14900KF and 2tb m.2
The most clever thing that dell has done on r15 and 16 is they move the CPU radiator to the top instead of in the rear. Therefore CPU won't eat up all the hot exhaust from GPU. It cost how many years to make them realize that?
I'm am intrigued at the new case, hoping they made some fixes from the old R13/R15 cases that just sucked for cooling. I bought the R15 and you seemed to praise that machine. Gamer's Nexus took theirs apart and really did a great job showing all the problems with Alienware (still). I wish I had the time to build my own but it's not my thing (happily left IT work after 25 years!) It's disappointing how much they lock down the CPU performance and RAM speed.
Did you use the FURY BEAST RGB 64GB DDR5-5600 Dual Channel RAM Kit, 2x 32GB, C40, Black (Part #KF556C40BBAK2-64)? Will it work for the R16 Intel 14th gen i9 @ 5600mhz out of the box? The manual doesn't say it supports 64GB 5600mhz ram setup. This video didn't mention the size and speed of the Fury Beast kit that was used either. Is XMP profile now enabled in the latest bios?
Sadly didn’t get an answer from this channel. I had hopes considering this review is so detailed. But just like other RUclips channels, subscribing just increases the user base, you wouldn’t get any answers or reply. “You only get a personal reply only when you subscribe”. But why would I subscribe if I know now you’re not really being genuinely helpful? Definitely NOT subscribing.
360 mm would be three fans, so I would think it's not compatible. The case can only fit 2 fans on top? But I heard there's some new fans that are thicker that are better. May or may not be an option. The cooling is not the best, and but by limiting the CPU's performance to 90% (restrict BIOS options) hopefully they make sure that it's stable. And that's okay if the price of the computer is cheap.
just wanted to drop a note and say that you really nailed it when it comes to people like myself who just go the pre built route. Back in the day, when my eyes worked 100% and I had the time and energy, taking apart, building, upgrading my computers(even back in the old Commodore Amiga days) was enjoyable. Now, I'm paying for the convivence and for someone else to figure out and build a modern PC for me. Hence, having watched all your pre built review vids to date(great stuff) as i am currently in the market to upgrade my Alienware R9, to see if I should just stick with Alienware as they have never failed me in the past, or take the plunge and give someone else a shot!
Totally agree. I liked that section of the video. I don't get why people make so much of this. The same logic would apply to many things in life- house cleaning, gardening, bringing lunch to work instead of eating out, making coffee at home. We all make these choices for ourselves. For me building or upgrading would be a chore not a joy. Others enjoys it. Great.
Exact specs are going to depend on what your doing but in general AMD is kicking Intel in everything: better performance per watt (more zoom for less power), overall performance (the E cores are only about 40% of a P core. Stack enough and they have some heavy duty power, but suddenly '24 cores' looks a bit less impressive when the 8 P cores beat the 16 E cores. And AMD is all 'P core'. And if your mostly gaming, the X3D is silly good. No one benchmarks with the OG 5800X3D because it sits around the middle of the pack. So about on par with chips 2 generations newer and on a 5+ year old socket. Its sort of too good. And the new ones are even better. With an exception or 2, at worst they are tied with Intel and the rest of the AMD CPUs. They can be quite a bit better. As for where to get one? X3D builds are a bit rare but look at not Alienware. Too many 'good reviews' that are "of the review system provided to us by Dell". Aka If we don't like your review, you don't get another review sample. When you do find a legitimate "we paid $$$ for this", suddenly the tune changes: AW is lucky to tie, it often falls well short of 'off the shelf' hardware. Then pair with 'knows what they are doing' and $1800 Alienware gets clobbered by $1800 'Custom' build. Strictly "it works as it should out of the box, no fiddling at all required" is quite rare. Builders are a little too loose and sloppy with builds (a 'test' may be to run a benchmark: CPU @ 100C and 4k points short "what seems to be the problem?" Umm your thermal throttling the heck out of the system? Check the cooler/paste?) But if your willing to do a '5 minute poke around': check XMP, shift a fan, etc. then a good system in a box isn't too hard to find. I think Skytek got good marks, ABS (except they are Newegg house brand, blachk). Gamers Nexus has a good series with 'works to spec out of the box' as the pass/fail criteria. Worth at least skimming that playlist. Nothing wrong with going prebuilt, just not Alienware.
I have a question. You get the 6000MT/s DDR5 32 GB Memory for upgrade but the Owner's Manual shows only support Up to 5600 MT/s. Do you get any issue with 6000MT/s? How about 6400MT/s? I also tried to ask their support team, they said only 5600MT/s too.
Even though i can't afford one as a third world country teen, i still came here to admire how beautiful this PC is. Just seeing it gave me a rush of excitement and joy-it's incredible to look at!...those specs are mind-blowing...thanks for the review :)
Just wanna say you do a good job. a real good job. on sorting this all out. I appreciate the information very much. thinking about buying a gaming PC right now. in between DELL AND HP
As someone who has other alienware peripherals (headset & mouse) and has had alienware laptops in the past, I haven't used a desktop in over a decade, would you recommend this? I had to return 2 Alienware M18 R1's about a month ago (both had issues with hardware) would I be better off getting this desktop from best buy? (I have to use best buy due to having store credit) It's gonna be my first desktop in well over a decade, would the R16 be a good fit? Is the drives not having heatsinks on them a big issue for prolonged life of the PC/drive? Not looking to do any upgrades, just buy a PC thatll last me a few years without issue. Always liked the looks of Alienware.
The best answer to all of these would be to build your own, Alienware is notorious for heating issues and hardware issues. If you build your own it will last you years and years.
@@Ritzcrackers99 Yeah, I know that's what everyone says, "Build your own" I actually don't have a whole lot of space to work with and after crunching some numbers, getting new furniture right now so I can have a desktop is out of the realm of possibility.
What is your input on getting a single drive 4tb rather than 2tb OR dual 2tb m.2 PCIe? Would this be better for performance over all having separate files 1 drive for gaming 1 for miscellaneous? or all files in 1 drive? (Or add in the sata as 2nd storage be more useful?) Btw, appreciate your detailed video, keep up the good work.
having to use the dell parts bin for those motherboards really holds back AW. If they could use ATX and scale this up just a little bit to use a 360RAD it would be a LOT better.
Thank you! No you can also mount it to the actual case above the other fan. There’s holes for the screws, you just need to pop off that front panel to access the other side
I want to get this PC with the highest option available for CPU choice on DELL's site, but I just want a 4070Ti. Better than my 2070Ti I currently have.
How hard is it to upgrade the cooling parts you did and is it worth doing? New to all of this I have family that works for Dell so I can pick this up for a little under 3,000.

so would this be a good first pc for me?
I don't upgrade cpu and gpu, i just toss the old pc after a few years and buy a new one.
Curious what is a few years to you? 😅
So practically you're upgrading?
Same. Except when a new sports car comes out, I don't save enough money for it 😂
I’ll have one 😅
Can I get the tossed pc
Just saw this review. Really enjoyed it. As a console gamer my whole life, I've been looking into getting a pc for quite some time. I recently made the plunge and went prebuilt. Purchased an Aurora R15 with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X cpu and 4090 gpu. Have been really enjoying it. I honestly can't believe how good this thing is. Runs like a dream. Have yet to get a monitor setup yet, but I will soon. Until then, I'll just have to settle for my C1 OLED.
That's a pretty sick PC for your first one !
@@Afroman_Gamingwhere abouts did you buy it?
@@toemuncher3333 I ended up getting it directly from Dells website.
@@toemuncher3333 I had purchased it directly from the Dell website.
Please please do a tutorial on how you swapped the Alienware cooling fans for the Corsair cooling system.
Plus I like aliens.
seriously?
@@CinderDoreiku yes their warranty is that good if you buy it. I pay $35 a month for my laptop that costs over $3500
That’s true, but they will always find an excuse not to honor their warranty.
Possibly astroturfing
Cheers
Rick
the R13 is especially horrible especially with high-end parts. so.
Thanks!
Wow! That’s a stupid good deal. The best I’ve seen is $2999.

@@tramnguyen0000 This was a deal directly through Dell a few months ago. Amazingly it was for a 4090 Super. It didn't last very long and most people think it was some sort of price mistake.

It's an awful PC to be honest. All the parts are custom, if anything breaks you're 100% screwed. Good luck!

Maybe some day Dell will spend the money and make a decent gaming PC with a case from Corsair or Coolermaster?
case looks pretty nice bro what you on?
@@moop111 Its Trash compared to the Omen 45L and Corsair Cases Bro, but if you like Dell Slop buy it!
Honestly? I actually like this case better.

I read dell reviews that they have really bad customer service. Are you sure it’s actually good service? I just want to make sure.
@ bro the service is really good. I can only speak on the premium support plus service though. Highly recommend!
@ok thx!
Definitely plan to look into this thank you for the review bro
I agree with your final thoughts. The best thing about these would be price to performance. Great to pick one up when sales come around. Best for people that dont plan on upgrading themselves.
Why does the 4090 version of this aurora r16 cost now 4500€?
Thanks!
@mikegraff4973 no problem! Thanks for the donation mike!

Can't wait to use this for VR!!!
@ChrisChris011 Congrats Chris! Which VR headset will you be using?
1 intake and 3 exhaust fans is crazy. I had to swap my RAD fans to intake for my own peace of mind. It keeps my temps relatively low and no negative air pressure so it works for me.

Trash motherboard, looks ugly and terrible airflow. Decent price for a prebuilt of those spec though.

How long would it last before you NEED to upgrade parts in order to run smoothly?
Most of the people hating probably never actually had a r16 , one of my best friends has one and they said it’s actually pretty good, it can get a little loud with the fans and heat if your playing high end games, but overall she said it was great and recommends it for anyone who doesn’t want to build a pc or doesn’t have the time.
I’m also about to get one after December thanks to my grandmother (she works for dell) she’s heard good things from customers who bought the pc.

you should really consider benchmarking the Micro Center pre-built computers to see how they stack up with everyone else too.

Great video man, really appreciate creators like you. Hats off

Last time was a spec’d out Area51.
But the gains will be pretty noticeable in gaming as well

i had my Alienware Aurora R7 for years and its been good to me but its time to get a new PC and Alienware Aurora R16 is in my budget, only upgrades im getting are the 14900KF and 2tb m.2

And that's okay if the price of the computer is cheap.
it's finally something to consider. Dell always has some kind of sale to add onto this making it an option for people that just want to order
just wanted to drop a note and say that you really nailed it when it comes to people like myself who just go the pre built route.
Check the cooler/paste?)
But if your willing to do a '5 minute poke around': check XMP, shift a fan, etc. then a good system in a box isn't too hard to find.
Do you have any update for this question ?
Great video. Do you see any way to add a thunderbolt card to this?
any problem slapping in a 3080ti in there? Space wise?
Have you found a way to boost the CPU? Great Review!!!
Even though i can't afford one as a third world country teen, i still came here to admire how beautiful this PC is. Just seeing it gave me a rush of excitement and joy-it's incredible to look at!...those specs are mind-blowing...thanks for the review :)
Keep working on it, I was the same way and now I’m about to buy one
What’s your opinion on the 4080 super version?
Is it possible to change the case of the pc
Just wanna say you do a good job. a real good job. on sorting this all out. I appreciate the information very much. thinking about buying a gaming PC right now. in between DELL AND HP
@user-lf6op2fh8e thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
Does this PC gets dusty due to the top openings?
At 13:48, the test results are from a 4090, but all his tests were ran with a 4080?
I mentioned several times throughout the video I tested both the i9 version with a 4090 as well as the same tests on the i7 with a 4080 version
Where were you when I purchased my Aurora R11 4 years ago!!! This PCs high temps make me upset considering it was supposed to a gaming computer.
having to use the dell parts bin for those motherboards really holds back AW. If they could use ATX and scale this up just a little bit to use a 360RAD it would be a LOT better.
Where would MAINGEAR's MG-1 Ultimate NVIDIA Studio Edition sit in these lists?
Great review. How did you install the additional intake fan though, don't you need a specific alienware/Dell fan holder for that?
Thank you! No you can also mount it to the actual case above the other fan. There’s holes for the screws, you just need to pop off that front panel to access the other side
@@JustinTechTips Thanks! Wasn't sure due to all the proprietary parts.
I plan on getting whatever the latest Alienware PC is when Im 18 or older and have a good paying job. I might get 4TB on it
Should i get the aurora r15 or aourora r16?
How is the 1000 watt PSU in the R-16 better that the 1350 Watt of the R-15 and will it able to power the high end VR headset
Hey Justin how much fps does it get on fortnight
I want to get this PC with the highest option available for CPU choice on DELL's site, but I just want a 4070Ti. Better than my 2070Ti I currently have.
How hard is it to upgrade the cooling parts you did and is it worth doing? New to all of this I have family that works for Dell so I can pick this up for a little under 3,000.
Do you have an affiliate link for the Canadian website for the Aurora R16?
