- So far my WalkSnail experience has been on my rather chunky 7" Chimera quad, so let's go in the opposite direction and see what the experience is like with this tiny RTF!
This quad was very kindly supplied by YouFPV for review, so if you are in the UK don't forget to check them out.... as it's a lot faster than waiting for things to ship from China!
You can find the Bassline HD quad I was flying here yourfpv.co.uk/... (also available on HD Zero) and the stores homepage is yourfpv.co.uk/

Strong with the force that tree is, Wayne... And a powerful ally it is. 😬
Fantastic flying and review as always! Pretty fun little quad! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Weird that tree is... I can't explain it. I might go back there and hold the quad around the tree while my radio is on the place I would be standing to see what I can induce
This quad it very impressive for what you have along with digital. Excellent review.
Cool isn't it :D Many thanks
Voltage sag. You can wire it to vbat to help but any HD is gonna cut out when you sag too much. Awesome little quad and review
Another great video 👍
Cheers :)
Impressive how fare we've become... Sweet, little, light :D
Yes - amazing tech in such a little quad!
video loss looks like voltage sag. It looks like drone restarted it self since flight time was at zero after video came back
I agree it looked like the quad completely reset - and I initially thought that doing that maneuver may have caused something to dislodge or something like that. But aside from those 2 failures I showed you, and me eventually going through in the other direction, I did a load of front/back flips to see if I could reproduce the issue, and I couldn't !?
Yeah, sounds like it. He also said the batteries are quite bad and they were 6,8-6,9V already pre-flip! Walksnail is known to don't do well with hard voltage sag.
might want to play with raising your I-gain, esp if flying a small thing in high winds (and perhaps in angle mode) is something you enjoy
Angle mode is not something I would choose to be in at all :) That quad needs some tuning in a few ways, but I'm always keen to fly it pretty much as it comes when it's an RTF so people can see what they'd be getting.
Im sure it would have done better with a LHCP antenna on it rather than that tiny analougue linear...The deep green foliage signal soaker and loss of LOS didn't help either...Im sure the flip caused some kind of brown out of your video transmission...You running it on 5v? from where?..🤔😳😏🇬🇧
Agreed - trade off between decent picture and very light quad. 5v is coming from the FC. The fact is reset seems to suggest it went completely - which is a bit odd. Yes the voltage was low, but I did some fuller throttle bits in the location after this and had a much lower voltage readout. I'll have to experiment and see
@@CurryKitten Yes, but a very bad Lipo will drop it's voltage lower and faster?...The video loss was at the same time the FC dumped the quad...🤔😳
