    Spannweite: 1600 mm
    Abfluggewicht (inkl. Akku): 200 g
    Akku: 2S LiPo, 450mAh, 35 g
Motor: DJI Mavic Mini, 8 g, BL Außenläufer

      Entspannung pur!
      Vielen Dank dafür Reto!

Search the web for "La Ventolina pdf" and you will find the plan of the plan for free download.
You find some details to build these planes here: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?1209762-14-8gr-RC-Glider-with-folding-motor-With-plans-and-Video
The 200% La Ventolina is based on experience with these models. Yet, there are no plans to download for the 200% version.

bro how does it roll or bank with the V tail? Or do you just have pitch and yaw movements, and you had to program the circuit a little bit, right??
the plans that you provided, i printed them and it looks like the wings are wider than the one flying here... i am a beginner in rc, I just bought a transmitter and receiver, is there any videos on how to build these beauties?
What language do i have to learn to program the circuit idk, this V tail would require programming right??

The 200% Ventolina is an own design basing on the plans of the original La Ventolina. Both planes fly well in calm conditions - but they don't like wind.
You find some details to build these planes here: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?1209762-14-8gr-RC-Glider-with-folding-motor-With-plans-and-Video
To control the flight you need to mix the the pitch and yaw command. This is normally done in the transmitter.

Is a 10,000kv, 11.5 A max motor of 3.4g weight good enough? model name - HGLRC SPECTER 1003 10000KV Brushless Motor, i feel like it will be too small, and what propeller size will be good?

    • @ralfeheliforever3875
      @ralfeheliforever3875  5 месяцев назад

My 200% glider is powered by an 8g BL motor from a DJI Mavic Mini, using the original propeller (4,7"x2,6") @ 2S LiPo, 450mA. Maximum thrust is 200g @ 4A. This corresponds to a max. input power of about 32W. My model is definitely overpowered with that motor.
I don't know your 1003 motor. But from the manufacturer's web page it is specified for a maximum pull of 151g at an input power of 66,6W - but for less than 5 seconds run time. Normal pull seems to be in the region of 70g at an input power around 32W. Probably it is good for a fast flying copter but not optimal for a slow powered glider.

I completed my build 3 days ago but it was a disaster lol, the glider is so unbalanced, it didn't even go straight in the ground,.
i have some videos, would you like to watch them?
atleast i realized the motor is powerful enough to lift all the electronics and the glider, So i'll try again,
the depron sheets that i ordered are bent a little bit, is it okay? It was very hard for me to glue the parts together so i tried to bend the parts in the correct shape using electric iron which actually worked to some extent and it was easier to glue the pieces together.
I also wanted to ask you about the wing profile that is drawn in the designs, do we have to curve the wing in that curved shape all way to the wingtips?
i also tried to put the tail servos on the tail because i didn't understand how to install pushrod from inside the glider, or the string method, it looked tough, i used 3.7g servo so they were of bigger size than magnetic actuators,
using magnetic actuators, they have linear motion right? so will it work? because its position is not adjustable right? only two positions?
do we have to account for the weight shift after the motor lifts up from the horizontal position while trying to balance the CG?... I don't know what my mistakes were, do you know somewhere i could get help? like the rc-forums? This was my first rc project ever and the glider was absolutely beautiful 😍

What a pity. Good luck for your new attempt!
Where can I watch or download your videos?
You can glue depron using white wood glue or something like UHU Por.
Yes, the wing should have its profile along the whole span.
      Have a look here ruclips.net/video/YHRbxNZQpa0/видео.html
You can use 0,5mm carbon rods or bamboo sticks as pushrods.
For a model of this size, I expect magnetic actuators to be too weak. Even 3,7g servo might be not strong enough.
If you can proportionally control the current flowing through the coil of a magnetic actuator you can move a rudder proportionally. If you switch the current you can control only two positions.
The weight shift of the moving motor may cause a problem. It is best to balance the model for a good glide without motor power. Switching the motor on will move the CG of the plane a forward. This can be compensated by pulling a bit of elevator during climbing.
Though it is an old thread you will get help here: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?1209762-14-8gr-RC-Glider-with-folding-motor-With-plans-and-Video

I have already printed the plans and made a prototype, now my doubts are only,
    1) how to fix the wings in place, glue? But there must be a more robust way to do it
    2) do we manually have to place the servos in place to balance the glider?
    3) channel configuration in Flysky i6 for v tail?

    • @ralfeheliforever3875
      @ralfeheliforever3875  5 месяцев назад

      1) For the 100% La Ventolina I just use glue (UHU Por). The wing of my 200% version can be removed for transport. It is fixed by two dowels and one M3 screw.
      2) Yes. The center of gravity (CG) of the plane has to be optimized by the positions where you mount the servos, the receiver, and the flight battery.
      3) ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=Flysky+i6+for+v+tail

I'm so bad at balancing the glider, any tips? At what percentage of lenght from the leading edge should cg be? This one, the 200% one flies so calmy its so relaxing man, can I text you in whatsapp?

On the plan of the 100% glider you see the main spar reinforcing the wing. The CG is located at the position of that main spar. Place the CG of your big glider to the same percentage of lenght from the leading edge.
