I had my vfs appointment on July 27, I entered at 11 am as my slot was at 11:30 am, by the time my name was called out for the first time it was 3:30 pm, all this while I was told to wait patiently for my turn as the staff was busy with other applications, at 3:30 pm they asked me for another document for which they allowed me some time, unfortunately I was not able to secure that document by 5 pm and could not complete my application on that day. Now because of that one day I had to again book an appointment at vfs and be waitlisted for two months, for my next appointment I will have to bring new block account confirmation (for the updated amount) and may even need APS certificate not only that, I can now not join my sem in October and will have to try for next sem which is after 6 months, If only VFS was more supportive, It could have been so much easier for me.
Which document was it?
I am so sorry to hear this unfortunate incident. If this was US you could have sued VFS and would have win the case by now, but this is India, anyone can do anything without abiding rules and laws.
Was yours normal process or premium lounge?
And you will surely need aps now, because new slots, if you don't hold already, will only be from Nov and onwards.
@@Rajat_Sharma_Vlogs It was premium lounge service and after watching your video I can confirm this is exactly how pathetic vfs's premium lounge service is. I spent nearly 7 hrs on that day, in the VFS office with absolutely no result.
@@sayedkaif2816 That is another story altogether, I was missing the blocking confirmation letter, I opened my blocked account with fintiba and transferred the total payment in two installments, now one of the genius employee at Ebixcash (partner of fintiba in India) emailed me asking the tax on international transaction above 7 lakhs. I immediately transferred the tax amount to them asking if they are sure I need to pay tax (as I and my brother made that payment separately) after successfully wasting 3-4 business days they came back apologising for sending email in error and that I was not supposed to pay the tax, then they transferred payment to my blocked account (which they kept on hold). I notified fintiba about this issue stating that I need the confirmation letter for visa application but they assured me to show them all the payment receipts and other documents as a proof of blocked account being opened and they would accept it. However the VFS denied to accept any such proof, I emailed again to fintiba for immediately sending the blocking confirmation but received no reply until 8 days, ironically later on vfs appointment day I received blocking confirmation naturally on the app.
@@michellesehgal7616 Your case is like absolutely the reason I keep fighting against the pathetic service from VFS. I hope you also wrote a complaint to Embassy, doesn't need to be long, but to the point, that VFS wasted your time in processing, kept you waiting, and then wasted your appointment slot, costing you half year delay in your education, plus all extra expenses, and worst is the mental stress they give to other person. Please I request you to write a brief complaint to Embassy as well.

This is intentional. US consulate has 1000s of people applying every day , inspite of them everything is managed in a timely fashion without any issues at all
To avoid all this, my suggestion would be to book a early morning slot.. when i reached VFS ..after the initial document check( appointment slip and vaccination) I went up and there was literally no one.. i was called straight to the counter, started submitting docs and the lady was very professional, understanding and helpful. She asked for some docs which I didn't have so I went to take a print out. By the time I was back , she had started processing someone else's application...but when she saw me, she asked that person to wait and completed my application.. immediately walked to do the biometrics and whole process was completed within 40 mins... So if feasible try to book the first slot in the morning

Maybe VFS Delhi is the worst. It's a common scene in VFS delhi for most candidate to spend 4+ hours in premium lounge.
And when was ur appointment btw? Things lately are much worst.

I had my appointment on 17th October in vfs chennai with premium lounge my appointment time was 12:00 pm I went to vfs at 11:50 am,got the token submitted all the documents and biometrics,all the process completed within 1 hour amd the staffs were really helpful,I think Delhi vfs is worst.
Good to know that VFS Chennai is in better state.
My suggestion would be scan and upload all your documents by yourself. Carry just your passport and minimal amount of documents that are required according to your application form or documents checklist. Don’t buy any service from them, even if they say “ TAKE OUR FILE VERIFICATION SERVICE TO ENSURE ALL DOCUMENTS ARE CORRECT” Just straight go to your designated country’s office, take the token, submit your application, and get your biometrics done and leave. You’ll be freed in 15-20 minutes.

Just got back from my appointment and what a rollercoaster ride it was ! I came in at 8.45, left at 4 o clock! It could have been a 1 hour process as all my documents were in place. But they refused to accept my extension letter because of semantics (my uni had given an open ended letter rather than mentioning a deadline by whuch we must reach there). I had to wait for 5 hours in mental agony before I could be given a revised extension letter. Thank god my uni was cooperative! What's funny is that I had gotten a late appointment because of "technical glitches " in the first place! They took no responsibility for it. Accountability is a huge issue as VFS has monopolised the visa business. Agreed that it's a management issue as the employees were working non stop from what I could witness.
Sad to know that you also had poor experience with VFS global. Hope the worst has passed for you, all the best.

I don't think VFS Global New Delhi is up to the standard, because my experience was too bad .
Hello Rajat, just one question - Did you also submit your passport along with other documents in the VFS New Delhi office? In my case they said Passport is not required and you will have to come again for visa stamping process. My appointment was on 7th September and till now I have not heard anything from the German embassy
Submitting passport is optional. They don't usually keep it, but it can be asked by candidates if they want to keep passport with embassy so they don't have to come back to deposit it for stamping. But many prefer to not deposit it, in case they need it in the meanwhile, and no one knows how long the process can take nowadays.
For public master usual processing time is 30 days.

Informative video brother. My doubt - Vfs mein interview nhi hota kya ? Ya apka nhi hua ? Aur kitne rounds hote hai ( kitni baar bultae hai office?).
Interview are compulsory for bachelors if less then 90%. For master and above 90% embassy can still call for face to face to telephonic interview, depending on case to case.
Usually it's done to verify past education or experience info.

My experience with VFS centre Chandigarh
i applied for UK TRANSIT VISA and booked appointment on 15th December 2023.
i took their primium lounge service while taking appointment and i carried all original and photo copies on appointment day i arrived on scheduled time.
first counter they checked my passport and appointment receipt and said u have to take our documents scan service which is not included in primium lounge service i paid extra 1200ruppees then i paid 250 again to use their locker service as they don't allow earphone and other blutooth item inside.
After everything i went to counter ans scanned all documents easily but they said your passport is little bit damage which is unfair to me bcz it was fresh passport without any damage so they force me to sign their letter i talked their senior officer but at the end i have to sign it for further process...
Then i went for biomatric and came out.
Don't know why VFS doing shit with innocent people.
Waiting for response from embassy.

Processed visa application ready for collection ke msg ke kitne days baad dispatch ka msg aata hai VFS se.
Mera 10th Feb 2023 Friday ko aaya update ready for collection, maine courier ke liye form bhi bhara tha but dispatch nii hua abhi tak.
Usually it’s dispatched in next working day. So may be for you it will be further processed on Monday.

Actually my appointment is on 12th of October, but while booking an appointment,I made a mistake in my passport no., Instead of putting 5 in the last, I put 6. So in my appointment letter,the passport no. is wrong, will there be any issue in that?
Also what should I do to convince them that it was the genuine mistake?

If it's just a single digit mistake in passport number, and rest all info is correct, then they may fix the issue and allow you to do the processing. Your presence with a correct passport should be assuring enough to them, I hope.
Pls write an email and confirm with them regarding this issue.. or else you would simply waste your time
VFS guys are very strict and not flexible..so better to confirm it beforehand

Hello sir, Me and my friend we have done the payment and couriered the documents to Delhi office, but we have not received any kind of confirmation till now, this was done in the first week of November. Can you tell me till when I can expect the certificate and how do I contact APS.
APS department is overloaded. Currently, they are processing batch of application made around 10-20 Oct. So probably they have not even stated with Nov applications. It can take up to a month from now.

Bro i have submitted my file to vfs on 29/9/2022 for masters and when I track my application there written as your file is in under processing at visa application center. So when they handle the files to German embassy .
U must have received msg by now mentioning the file has been sent to embassy for further processing.

hi rajat i am currently living in Bangalore but on my aadhar the address is of noida so is there something like communication address where they deliver the passport or we have to ourself to the visa center ? also how long does it take after bio metric for stamping ?
Your passport would be couriered to the address that you will mention to them at the time of stamping process. If they collect passport earlier during the application, then at that time itself you will have to let them know the address.
The processing time for Visa is 45 days then 9-10 days for stamping if it's a separate process. Depends on how Bangalore VFS/Consulate is doing it.

Same documents are needed for all VFS. But now new APS application process is must for study visa before applying for Visa appointment at VFS.

For public + master it can be 30 days, for private + bachelors it can be 60-90+ days...

As per my understanding. Embassy ne kahi IELTS compulsory mention nahi kia hai. In checklist, they have mentioned, ki agar student k pass university se admission letter nahi hai jime mention kia ho student has sufficient language skills to complete the course, then only student have to show a language certificate of language in which the course is.
To agar university apka language level accept krleti hai, be it basis on anything, like IELTS or TOEFL or PTE or DuoLingo or MOI or just interview, and mention in their official letter that you have sufficient language skills, then that letter itself should be enough as language proficiency proof.
So technically embassy ko koi aur proof ki jarurat nahi honi cahiye.
But agar you have not give any language test already, and have to give it for getting admission, then it's better to pick IELTS or TOEFL as these are the most popular English test, and Goethe for German.
Agar Embassy ko koi issue nahi hua, then wo bus apka admission letter k basis pe hi language proficiency proof accept krlenge, but agar Visa officer ki wish hui to wo apse IELTS/TOEFL (if English course) ya Goethe certificate (if German course) present krne k liye bhi bol skte hai, they have every right to do that.
For example there can be these possible scenarios -
Case 1 - Uni accepted PTE, gave admission letter mentioning sufficient English proficiency for course, Embassy is happy with it and doesn't ask for IELTS and issues Visa.
Case 2 - Uni accepted PTE, gave admission letter mentioning sufficient English proficiency for course, but Embassy is not happy with it for any reason (like candidate have low score in past, or his/her Uni is private or less reliable) then they will ask for IELTS or TOEFL separately.
Case 3 - Uni accept your language proficiency based on PTE or MOI or DuoLingo or any way but does not mention it on Admission letter that you have sufficient language skills needed for the course. Then you must present one of the certificate mentioned by Embassy on their checklist like IELTS / TOEFL for English or Goether for German.
I hope this clarifies things. Plus, this is just based on my best knowledge. Also, do write an email to embassy (specially Kolkata consulate replied more often), to know if you still need IELTS/TOEFL even if your uni has given you an admit letter with mention of language proficiency. Only embassy can give you right info based on your case/situation.

As far as I know, only Delhi accept cash payments. But please do call VFS to confirm the same.

1. mere college public uni hai, to fees nahi hai tuition wali. Kya semester contribution fee ka submit karke pdf dikhana padega?
2. VFS ka payment ho gya hai Delhi ka, 4 July 23 ka slot mila h, waitlist nahi hai abhi toh, easily mil gaya tha bhaiya. 1pm ka slot liya hai.
3. Bhaiya ye "extension letter" kya hai VISA process mein, samjha nahi, comments mein kuch log bat kar rahe the, mere MS course 2 years ka hai, konsa extension letter chahiye ?

As far as I know, just showing blocked account with 1 year's worth of amount (probably 11000 Euro or something) is enoough.

No. You have to prove that you were living in the VFS's covered region from more than last 6 months.

You can print it there and add to your documents... Pdf is not accepted...

@@mehulgajera7052 I don't know what the options are in that case, maybe they allow you some time like 1 hour to submit the missing document, and you will have to leave the center, find shops to get prints and then submit them. Or most probably they may have a section to do prints and stuff for some charges.
But if you carefully complete your application, ensure to not give them opportunities to pinpoint missing docs, then even in normal processing it can be all good.

No separate appointment for biomatric, it's done at VFS on the same day u submit ur documents.

Interview is done only if applying for bachelors and have less then 90% in 12th. No interview usually if applying for master or have 90% or more in 12th
Sir mera kal appointment tha mumbai on 14th October aur mera premium lounge. It was a great experience mera pura paper work sirf 20min me hogaya aur biometrics 15min and i am done. Aur vaha sirf chai aur coffee ke alava cake, cookies, chips, cold drink, soft drink, aur bohot kuch tha. Mean lag raha tha ki mai premium service liya hai krke. Aur mere form me kuch mistake hogaya tha tho vobhi sab unhone fill krke diya Even some photocopy was missing vo bhi unhone provide krdi mujhe ek bar bhi vo seat se uthne ki jarurat nh padi not even once. Bs mai sirf baitha tha vaha baki sab kuch vohi kr rahethe. Overall 1 hr me all process completed. If anyone want to go for premium i suggest to go for Mumbai vfs. It was amazing.
Nice u had fine experience. But not people have same option to pick another VFS center outside their region.
