It appears they were taught that taking only blood pressure which the nursing assistant does and temperature are enough to tell if a person is ill. Then when you tell the doctor what symptoms you have, and if it is more than a couple, he will appear frustrated and say, "that is a lot". I have gone to more than one doctor where I live, and they all act the same.

I was diagnosed 30 yrs before being treated w injections. they did help but as a senior my cognitive health is in sharp decline, it's scary thinking I might be decending into senility so young....it's messing with my marriage of 41 yrs. no one believes that this can happen!!!

I have a GP that I had to explain just what PA is. He is under the impression that just taking a multivitamin daily is enough. Where are these doctors in their 20s to 40s educated or do they get their degrees online now like RNs do? They are going to kill us all if we do not put a stop to this insane medical system.

Despite injections i get only once per month I can barely walk. I used to play badminton and go climbing regularly. Now I suffer with agonizing leg pains. My GP doesn't care.
I've had to inject daily for the past year. I haven't been able to go to maintenance doses yet. My GP wasn't supportive so I bought extra injections from pernicious anemia dotty orgggg.

If B12 injections are stopped a patient with pernicious anemia will not survive and the decline will be painful.

I think that would depend on the severity of the patients condition, I was on injections but now only tablets.
