Northampton are a class side, both on and off the pitch. They'll be prepared for the caldron. I'm betting that Croke Park or not, Leinster will have a bit too much, and I'm sure the team will be ultra focused on their game and not the white noise. As an Ulster fan I'll be supporting the lads in blue to bring it home, but it'll be no 'day in the park' against the Saints.

Lads they'll use croke park as in its a special stadium and every irish persons dream to play there. The occasion, the selecte few rugby players who've played there and so on.
I dont think they'll be using the English/Irish view on it.

Croke Park is probably at the same level [if not more] as Eden Park is to New Zealand with the pressure of not losing rather than winning, even more pressure with an England team playing,
Hopefully, we get a good match like the last 6 nations' game against England in Croke Park

It's 100 mtrs long with rugby posts at both ends,a longer run off area at both ends and a little wider on either side, these are professional sports men who will adjust to the layout, and as for the historical angle that was all put to bed when England played there for the first time and the pre match whilabeloo about the god save the Queen been played it was played and you could hear a pin drop, times have changed and moved on for the better,it's a game of rugby been played In a great stadium, people talk a lot of bull about emotions and this sort of think,it's leinster V Northampton not celtic V rangers, enjoy the occasion and forget the crap.

The IRA atrocity was committed by a sick group of terrorists totally unrepresentative of the Irish people.
It was a repugnant act of murder completely rejected and deeply regretted by Irish people.

Nice try lad. The difference as pointed out is that 1920 was state sponsored. Brits have far more to answer for than any one nation on planet earth

You cannot compare the murder of 14 innocents at a football game by state sponsored regular army members of the British army with an act of terriorism in Warrington.

2007 was special for its own reasons. Croke is still Croke park, a special stadium for the Irish an an honour to play there. Its the biggest stadium in the world to play rugby in.

The English don't like when history is brought up unless it benefits them. Lads you lot were the SS of the world up to 1933, you have plenty to answer for historically. All that being said its not brought up to bring hate, its brought up because it happened. It would be the same if they wanted to play a football match on the Somme, you wouldnt not bring it up!

A lot of gaelic grounds were offered for the 2023 world cup my friend, you need to check your facts, the new president of the GAA Jarlath Burns is a very modern thinking open minded educated man and I know himself and the highrarchy of the GAA would have no problem opening up it's pitches to facilitate rugby.
