i wont really describe it as a train to nowhere. a generation from today will one day say, 'whoever built this railway line did a good thing'
Nice😀
I agree,20 years from Today,Kenya will thank Uhuru's presidency,it was Overpriced infastructure but necessary,it will come to good use in opening up economic activities in this small towns.
Kumbee ! Nimependa sana mugu akueke...
I heard from the Western talking heads and media that these infrastructure developmental projects were "debt traps", and Africa should protect it's natural environment and remain the way it was..., no?
Dolphin is a National treasure and she should be protected at all costs. Great stuff..kenya iko shwari, kenya iko juu sana..we're not perfect but things like this make me prouder and prouder of my country.!
Thanks Ali..this kind of feedbacks makes me push even harder..I really appreciate 🙏🏾
Vote wisely for the progress to carry on.
Vote wisely to continue the way up.
@@stanleykihara8158 for sure👍
Protected from what?
this is one of the best things that President Uhuru and Ruto did for our country Kenya
I’m so happy that more and more people are using train rather than our hectic roads!
OMG! I miss home so badly. I just got back to Canada a week ago and I can't over the fun, happiness, delicious food, freedom, and good vibes of Kenya.
Lutherswift. Where in Canada... How can I reach you
Pole ,home is enjoyable, unlike being in another country
Me too. Just got back a month ago 😢 😭
Niko Toronto but next year nitarudi home
I feel your pain bro! Ive been back in Washington state since September and am missing home like crazy! Can't wait to get back there next summer! I've made it a yearly thing. Parents are getting older and time is running out...
From radsea ya Somalia iloved these video Kenyan ime change wallaahi
Most towns in Kenya grew because of the meter gauge railway and now this SGR will be a game changer for many small towns around it. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you
Especially voi town looks marvelous just because of the SGR
that taxi guy was so humble, if i ever go to suswa i will look for him to get him some business.
Hi Delphine. A terminus is the last station on the line where the train stops. If the train stops and then leaves a station it is not a terminus but a station. 😊
Oh thanks for your correction🙂
@@dolphine254 Hi thank you for taking me along in this wonderful train trip. Yes, in between are stations. To the final terminus where train stop and can not go further. How many terminus are there in Kenya.
Right... because it comes from the the word 'to terminate' i.e. to end, the last stop. Thanks for that reminder because I've also been using the word incorrectly 😅
@@kim1570 fun fact the word terminus comes from the ancient Greek god of boundaries
That's why I love coming to the comment section, it's an area where one gets educated and knowledge too.. I'm in my 70's yet it's here I get to learn the difference btwn terminus & station, thanks
thank you for showing us our beautiful country.i love watching your videos,i could watch even longer...watching from uk.
Thank you so much for always coming back to watch..I'm glad the videos are helpful
You are a good story teller....Watched the whole video

Wow. These chinese are serious people. Those stations look beautiful and not some bricks put up looking like toilets like many of kenyan built stations.
syokimau commuter station and makadara station are very well built during kibakis time
Amazing stuff, Dolphin! I even had no idea the Suswa train is operational. How picturesque! Love it!

Nice, it is somewhere. Opening to the rural area. Please bring the rail to my villages; extend it more!
You should also have indicated about the train back to Nrb. Time to wait for the train back. More about Suswa town.
Congratulations my president Uhuru Kenyatta

Good content, love watching the progress that Kenya is making while here in the States
Thank you sana Dolphine254. You are doing a good job highlighting government projects that we hardly see on our major news outlets aka githeri media. Thumb's-up Dolphine254. I have smashed the bell icon so hard i think its broken. Keep them coming
I really appreciate 🙏🏻
Thank you for the video ! Look forward to experiencing this when I visit Kenya next!
Thanks you'll love it
Amazing and useful insight on that part of the SGR. I actually feel like taking a ride one day and perhaps sleep over the days. A viewer may have been interested to know the interval between arrival and return to Nairobi/Syokimau (what time did you leave Nairobi, reach Suswa, and then leave Suswa and arrive in Nairobi. did you connect again on the commuter train to the Central Station? Otherwise it was a captivating narrative. Kudos.
So informative. Will try out the journey to Suswa.
Nice
Awesome video ... it's always good to do these random trip to new town and just explore... I'll try this.

Definition of terminus
End of a transportation line or travel route
Terminus is only at the end of a journey, otherwise you have stations on the way. Otherwise a great vid.

Dolphin I love your videos 🙂 I don't think the train leads to nowhere. It doesn't seem like much right now but it has potential with time.

Mzee Kibaki was sharply criticised during his term in office but praised after retire. So is Uhuru, people say will praise his achievements many years to come but in the meantime he's the worst according to their opinion.
People never realize what they have until it's gone. 🤷🏾♂️
Kweli kabisa... and btw congratulations for a great video, I'm planning to travel somewhere na nimejua ni wapi . Keep up good job and stay safe

Safe driving means stay within speed limit. In future flying drones operate by the traffic police would offer them speeding tickets or perhaps by highway speed cameras. Tks for sharing. Nairobi is very nice and modern judging from your video.
Thanks
Ur videos is very interesting to watch 🥰

Very nice, how much was the food? Also was the hotel big enough to accommodate a large group of about 50 people?
