One of the best things I like about your tutorials is that you show the mistakes. More so what could happen if you don't do it in the right order if someone new forgets. Such as applying the scale and rotation, I have forgotten that so many times and then see the oblong shapes.
Cheers Rose. I think including these things is so important as I think we have all been there at some point following a tutorial and we miss a detail where without it everything goes wrong, or the tutorial shows a perfect situation and putting it into practice often won't be in a perfect context.
I maybe have a few too many videos on arches as I got a little obsessed after visiting some cathedrals. Hopefully these help you out: Gothic Arches with a specific width (curve or spin tool): ruclips.net/video/KIz6yxkNmKs/видео.html Gothic Arches with a specific width (screw modifier): ruclips.net/video/QQ06H3kGgpk/видео.html
The more I watch your stuff, the more I appreciate your presentation style. Really makes things easy to understand.
That's lovely to hear :D Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad you're enjoying the content and style.

TIL ctrl while insetting, thank you

Sometimes simple is better. I was expecting you to make a complicated material, geonode or displacement modifier. Voronoi n' sheit
Haha... I imagine you could definitely do it that way but I think it would be overkill.
@@ArtisansofVaul It will become necessary if the surface is complex, or you have an awful lot of such surfaces and don't want to inflate the geometry
Awesome, thanks!
My pleasure 😁👍🏻
