Display quality for media consumption, and stylus note taking experience are two of my most sought after features. Does this laptop excel in both of these?
i haven’t bought this laptop yet (im still searching) but from what ive heard the display is relatively dim. it has 250 nits im brightness which is honestly terrible for a modern laptop. the minimum nit for most laptops nowadays is 300.
should be fine indoors but outdoors you’ll probably struggle.

Got mine yesterday too. Same screen quality as 7415 which is mediocre but 16:10 instead of 16:9. Sound quality is slightly better. SSD is from Kioxia (Toshiba/OCZ)

Hi, can you let me know how many nits the display is and is the entire laptop aluminum?
@@alphonzlorenzorobiso9198 Mine is North America version, it doesn't list the nits, probably a 300 nits low end model but good enough after a bit of color adjustments unless you are into content creation. Bright enough for all office or indoor usage (e.g. airport near the window). Not sure if it is all aluminum but feel very sturdy and sadly on the heavy side. First one is DOA, wouldn't power ON after 2 days. Replacement is working fine so far. Fan noise is annoying but over all a decent 2-in-1 for the price.
@@wpgc2 Thank you for the reply. I am in NA as well and considering exchanging my lenovo yoga I just got for this one because it has more RAM. But just hesitant on the screen brightness and quality as I travel for work at times - work at coffee shops etc. Price and specs wise it has everything aside from the screen.
@@alphonzlorenzorobiso9198 Dell USA has published the spec for the 7425 2-in-1. According to the spec, the brightness is about 15% higher than 7415 at 250 nits.

@@saptarshimozumdar1657 yes, definitely it excelled into these two parts unless you are doing heavy video editing or rendering. Everything can be done with the brand new 12th generation i7 New inspirion.
